mystery bags are not deals. you are buying products that you might have no use for, in which case you are simply throwing away money.

whatever it is, it's going to be stuff that noone else would buy.
I would guess the vast majority consists of gadgety crap (eg doraemon USB stick, 1Gb RRP $24.95) or junk jewellery with even more drastically inflated RRP.

I just wanted to join in on the crazy amount of negs this is getting, but seriously a $50 lucky dip is a pretty rich ask, plus how is it a bargain when you don't even know what you're getting?

So it's not even at their shop so you're probably getting suppliers left over junk (P200 CPU: $120RRP, 56k Baud modem: $150RRP (at the time we bought it) and 52x CD Drive: $90RRP). At least with Crap Of The Day you can get a refund on your $10 mystery item (Not sure about MWave's policy).
I might make a mystery bag and sell random junk too. It seems to be a good way to rip off the suckers of the world, legally.
