      S-video is fine for DVD on a CRT. Much closer to component than composite quality.

      But for an LCD/plasma, you probably want an upscaling player, or at least progressive output, which needs component or digital.

    It's nothing special but will do the job for playing DVDs and divx/xvid videos from a USB. I bought one of these for $30 from Coles :)

      And what games are they? I'm betting either terrible 'shovelware' (50 versions of Tetris) or it's an emulator featuring copyrighted software.

        It's a little bit of both. Certainly nothing playable. Think no-name brand pre-NES console with less responsive controls.

    LOL for 21 bucks as a dvd player it does the job. Who cares what "games" they include.
