But you have to deal with Banggood forget it.

i bought a Teclast from Banggood (or was it Gearbest) a couple of years back. It lasted 18 months and had multiple issues, never really worked properly it was embarrassing as I had given it to my son as a present. no bargain here.

BTW I am not assciated, the box won't let me uncheck

Yea, not convince with no name tablets. I tried 1, ok for 1 year, then would not charge n wifi kept dropping out. Stick with named brand…

the last one Onda V10 4g tablet I bought from BG was a flop. the screen is dim so that I can only use it after sunset haha but hey they happily refunded me almost 2/3 of the amount I paid and let me keep it, so I will take it as a win. but literally that was last time I decided to buy some random Chinese brabd.

  • Bought. and forgot Cashback…damn it.

    • Because you used a code, cashback almost certainly wouldn't track anyway.

      • +2

Better off not using the code, since the code only discounts it by $5 USD. The cashback is either 8% or 5% ($13.60 or $8.50 USD).

Had a no name tablet. Never again

  • Just a heads up, I bought a Teclast tablet last time they were on sale, they don't have an adequate security certificate for Netflix, so you can only use a low Res version. Aside from that the tablet has been really good, charging does take a while though.

  • don't buy, after 2 year you need to change the battery.

    • LOL. After 2 years you'll have to change the battery on most devices. Or certainly have lost much of its capacity, anyway.

Unless it is an ipad. 5 years old mini still going strong.

        • Though many older iPads have very poor batteries, plus the Apple "feature" where they slow down with each update…
I work with a lot of oldies who get all the hand me down iPads and iPhones. Even after a new battery most 4s, 5 iPhones etc, are slow as with awful battery life… YMMV ;)

          • @bowjjj: Are they still doing that? (I vaguely remember reading something about apple being sued over that.)

  • It looks quite nice. But the bands are going to be spotty. I'm not a fan of chinese launchers though. They copied iOS style instead of standard Android.

Spec are fantastic on paper, photos are amazing on website, the reality is bad.
That's the Chinese low level brands (im not talking about Xiaomi Huawei). Just check reviews first. Make sure they are not paid reviewers. Common issue will be low quality of screen, heating, bad wifi signal, batteries, etc

  • Shell out the extra for a xiaomi Mi Pad 4

  • The tablet without a brand that I bought on eBay from China about 3 years ago is still going strong for me. The only issue I've had is that a few of the shortcuts that I have on the homescreen have changed from their original picture into a picture of the green Android robot. I could probably just re-install the apps to fix that but it doesn't bother me that much.
