The 65 inch is selling at $4,300 @ costco. It is a bargain.
Very good price for the 55", and an absolutely amazing picture, hopefully the UI has improved though. I have the FZ950 (2018's model) and really find it poor, apps crashing very often, sometimes have to cycle the power at the wall. Resetting, upgrading firmware, reinstalling apps etc hasn't helped.
can i ask which apps? i have the same TV (65inch) and i agree the UI is all over the place with settings being old school tv type but apps being a different layer all together.. in saying that main apps i use is Netflix and Plex and have had no issue's at all … owned it about a year now.
Not sure if you have or not i'd be getting in touch with support if this is happening all the time maybe there's a hardware issue…
NetFlix is fine 90% of the time, mostly encounter issues after standby etc, but for the most part it's alright. YouTube app is the worst, 80% of the time it will not be working properly from standby, casting to it is a nightmare also. Stan sometimes crashing at some point whilst streaming, happened maybe 5 times total while binge watching the entire Breaking Bad series (so not so bad).
Amazon Prime has been fine for me, although it is the one I use the least.
Bummer, it’ll be where it ends for Panasonic unfortunately… unless they pull a rabbit out of a hat and totally fix the UI.. I went from pana plasma to oled so hopefully they get their act together at some point.. too many are proving to be better options from the software level.
The shield transforms the tv into a classy, sexy beast.
I also got the same tv and have a similar experience.. best to buy a shield.

If people are coming from a plasma would be ok. If they have LCD, its a huge hit in brightness for normal day viewing, especially if you have mid range and up.
Have the FZ950 with a big window opposite. It handles reflections beautifully.
