i got one from DealExtreme ages ago, and it does not mute… i think i payed around $3.50 delivered…

I got one of these a couple of months ago from Singapore so that my iphone stands and is on my bed side table making it easier for me to view the alarm in the mornings. No sound when docked but fixed that by getting a X2 mini speaker $11 AUD w shipping off ebay(chinese knock-off of the real X II Mini). Runs on an internal batt so needs to be charged every so often but does the trick.
Speaker dock needs something which runs on it's own power. Found that out after i purchased a tiny speaker that usually goes onto the iphone headphone jack; worked fine on the iphone but barely enough juice to power it from the dock.

can anyone tell me if i can dock the iphone4 with the bumper on? otherwise, will be quite annoying to take the bumper on and off just to dock it.
