dunno, seems expensive for what is essentially two planks of wood and some wheels. kids bikes cost less than that.

Agreed. These wooden bikes are playing off some BS Scandinavian design ie. A rip off for rich wannabe hippies.
The jd bug owns all other balance bikes. It's so light alloy and strong with good fat proper tyres and brakes. They can be had for around $90 on eBay.
So they are twice as much in other words

Will require another 4 years out of it still, and I have no doubts that its up to the task. Its been left out in the rain lots of times, been given a real hammering on muddy trails through puddles etc, and its still like new. Try that with wood lol.
Good pick up mattgal. That's a negative from me. It is really a $10 saving from the price on June 9th which is 10%. Hardly a bargain.
These bikes have been cost price since the start of June. I have made them even cheaper for Qld residents because of the huge difference in shipping costs.
