Country Road Spend $150 Save $50; Spend $300 Save $100 + More

914

Country Road has a Spend & Save promo running at the moment, which stacks well with a few different offers.
Firstly note, Spend & Save and Spend & Earn programs are members only (free to join)
I don't believe that there are any problems with stacking these offers.

tl;dr stack the offers properly, and as a member, you can get $150 worth of stuff and pay only $80, and have a $10 credit for your next spend. (Can even stack AmEx cards with this next credit)

Spend & Save

  • $50 off when you spend $150
  • $100 off when you spend $300
  • $200 off when you spend $600

Note, this promo is eligible for multiple redemptions
Expires in-store when stores close Sun 25 August, or 02:00am AEST online Mon 25 August (to accommodate AWST)

AmEx Credit

Spend & Save offer stacks with the targeted AmEx offer, Spend $100 get $20 Credit

Expires Wed 28 Aug

'Spend & Earn Rewards' Program

  • Spend $100-$249, $10 reward
  • Spend >$250, $35 reward

Rewards are given in the form of store credit, applied within 48 hours and have a 30 day expiry.
I think this is an ongoing promotion.

  • I use to buy business shirt and tie from CR, price was quite expensive but they were worth it.

    • +1

That would be at least 15-20 years ago.

      • Glad somebody knows this :)

  • Should the spend and save automatically be applied at checkout when logged in?

    • Yep, came up in checkout for me (I was logged in)

      • How long has it been since you signed up?

  • Would this work with Gift Card purchases?

    • +1

      Standard T+C shenanigans man.
Not supposed to work with AmEx offer but they can’t / won’t check.

But not eligible with the spend and save/earn offers.

Nice stacking - thanks OP. True OzB style

The reward service is currently unavailable.
    Please try again later.

    What is this?

  • "This offer is available to Country Road Reward Program members in the Bronze and Member tiers and e-subscribers as at 6:00pm AEST Tuesday 6 August 2019"

So this is probably for old account owners only

Weird. Discount didn't automatically get added.

Even though in my rewards page it says:

    MY OFFERS
You have the following offers available

Card Holder Exclusive$50 Off When You Spend $150 multi redeem Valid Until 26 Aug 2019
Card Holder Exclusive$100 Off When You Spend $300 multi redeem Valid Until 26 Aug 2019
Card Holder Exclusive$200 Off When You Spend $600 multi redeem Valid Until 26 Aug 2019

I am in the Member tier since May. I’m not seeing this in the rewards page and also no discount applied at checkout.

    • +2

It’s not automatic, on the right hand side of checkout page are buttons you press to apply discount

      • Thanks for that. Found it.

  • I have more than $150 in cart, but no $50 off?
    I am a member after 6:00pm AEST Tuesday 6 August 2019.

  • I also don't see the $50 off, have tried with an old account as well as a new one. Nothing works

  • Country Road rewards are currently unavailable. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please try again later.

    • Where did you see that message?

      • On the shopping bag page before check out, the message appears below your last item.

        • Not seeing that at all unfortunately

  • Thanks op
Finally I can use gift cards purchased at 90% off from Australia post

    • Hey mate, any idea if they stack online?

      • +1

        They do

        • Thank you.

  • Anyone know if I can use multiple gift cards to make an online purchase?

  • Still not getting the $50 off as of this morning

    • Mine's applying to my cart, but I've also been a Country Road member for 15 years

      • Maybe it’s targeted

        • Were you a member prior to 6 p.m. last night? As another commenter pointed out:

This offer is available to Country Road Reward Program members in the Bronze and Member tiers and e-subscribers as at 6:00pm AEST Tuesday 6 August 2019

          • +1

@kerfuffle: This is from MY ACCOUNT->MY REWARDS:

            Current Tier: Member
            Anniversary Review Date: 08/05/2020
            12 Month Spend: $0.00
            Current Tier Spend: $0.00

So I have been a “member” since 8th May - however, I have yet to spend anything with Country Road.

  • Maybe they haven’t switched it on for Bronze/Member tier yet - the dates are different for when the offer goes live for each member category - even though the T’s and C’s say that it should be live from Tuesday 6/8 6pm

    • They have. I'm a Bronze member …

      • funny. I clicked on the link and the website said I got an offer available. Added a few items to my card and it said nothing available. hah!

I don't see this offer and I'm bronze.

    • There's nothing in the checkout process on the right hand side above the promo code box?

  • The offer is displayed in 'my rewards' but not on checkout, either last night or this morning. Started to think it was one of those spend $150 and get $50 credit for your next purchase, which apparently it isn't.

  • Sorry, there are currently no offers available.

    Looks like targeted.

Girl on phone said Promo code "SINCE1974" and it will discount the spend and save deal.
Didn't work for me so she made the discount manually.
I have been a country road member for 2 weeks but was told you can join up anytime while the deal is on to get discount

    • Was told the same thing and given the same code - which works

    • +1

Seems to not work with sale items? I had a ~100$ item and tried boosting it over 50 using sale items: wouldn't work.
I ordered two of the ~100$ non-sale items and it worked.

      • yup only works for full price for me

        • Do the terms of this promotion state that it is for full priced items only?

Maybe you can try in store

          • @proudwanderer: It says not in conjuction with other offers. So this might imply sale items are offers.
