  Are the newer Swann cameras still no good? I know their wireless stuff sucked, but perhaps they are looking to replicate HikVision or Dahua. Just thinking that it might be easier to keep the firmware updated than either chinese stock or local stock (i.e. securitywholesalers) of those two brands. Seems like they are moving out of the 720/1080 resolution space (thankfully). Any recommendations for POE cameras and preferably a rackmount NVR?

    Hi There,

    Generic BNC coaxial cables are suitable only for digital/analog video recorders.

    The current offer are Network video recorders. They require Cat5e Ethernet Cable. Each Network security system come complete with 18m Cat 5 cable per camera offered in the security system.
