True, but unlike Steam, I like that fact that individual titles are discounted and not just when it's part of a bundle, allowing you to choose which titles you want.
And that all of the GoG games are DRM free. Being able to backup to whatever medium I choose is a great option IMO. Sometimes it's nice not to have to re-download ALL of the games I have just because I need to restore my system….
you know you can backup your steam games right? (to save re downloading them)
Also, steam backup is great. Works well for not needing to re-download.

Freespace 2 is pretty awesome with some high res mods as well.
Im going to buy them both tonight. agghh…good old days. with my 386 33mhz with 40MB (MEGABYTE!!!!!) harddrive. and my single speed CDRom drive. playing castle with pc internal beepers.
