No you don't. I grabbed one previously and have it plugged in as my landline as a backup to my mobile.
thanks. needed a new handset to appease mum's fears that, despite being at home with her charger with unlimited calls, she'll need a home phone.
perfect peace of mind purchase
The exact same deal with my folks as well.
I bought this previous time that it was on sale.
The handsets are really good and I use it in my VOIP line. I'm not with Telstra.
I only use the one handset though. Have not used the intercom feature.
Bought these for my Dad last time they were posted. He's pretty happy with them and can't complain.
seems to be out of stock already. Got this when I tried to purchase… Sorry. We don't have enough 'Telstra Easy Control™ 102 Twin Cordless (118844)' in stock to fulfill your order… good spot anyway…
Back in stock as of today 31/7.
These have a really good feature for blocking calls. You can enter entire numbers or even just prefixes - so, for example, I can enter 07 and block all calls from Queensland.
block all calls from Queensland.
C'mon mate, we're not all that bad :P
Good deal but I've dumped my homeline for naked ADSL and unlimited calls on my mobile. I wonder how many people are going down this track now?
Missed …
Your grandmother just went crazy when she saw this deal.
yours just groaned
Both mine been dead for 25 years. You're 25 years too late hahah
“‘ And I know they’ll be no more, deals in heaven”
with apologies to Eric Clapton.
I love vintage phones. Got any rotary dials?
Back in Stock. Ordered one on 29/7 at 10.49 am QLD time :-)
Back in stock again
Are these home phones actually good? don't want to buy them if they're junk and won't last.
Haha, they’re $20. Buy 5 sets and just chuck em as you fuk em.
@Lps - Agree but I don't want to buy crap which doesn't work. Its a hassle if you have to return them.
Looking for a handset, but does anyone know if you need to be with Telstra for it to work?
