yeah good hey
I dunno, with the eBay Plus 15% off deal atm for $509 you could get a MSI MAG271CQR (144hz, 1ms, 1440p, Freesync, VA panel) from Computer Alliance.
Plus a US$50 Steam voucher. If I'm reading the promotion right. https://au.msi.com/Promotion/eofy-netflix-bundle/
What's the colour accuracy and contrast like on that one? I'm still waiting to pull the trigger for this one.
Tom's Hardware and AusGamers have done reviews on it.
I don't know. I bought it. Been using Dell IPS panels for the last 8 or so years and to be frank I find the curve harder to get used to than the image difference and the curve is just different, not bad I.e. Either it's a good panel or the IPS only craze that seems to go on is overblown.
I purchased this monitor at roughly the same price last year and its been great. Despite it being a TN Panel, its a decent quality TN panel and there are helpful guides online which can help you tune the panel settings to get pretty damn good results.
It also has that understated sleeper look which fits well with my other Dell U2717D mounted right next to it.
Cool,I've looked at a few online reviews and it seems the main drawback is poor contrast with blacks not being very dark, what's your experience on this?
Eh, even with the cashback, they should still be doing a bit better given the incoming price competition.
Also, wasn't it available for $525 via eBay not that long ago?
I bought the 24inch but only got back $3 pending from cash rewards damn.
Ah that's strange haha, might be an error?
It's no where near 14 per cent
I had a similar issue and it was fixed. Might be a timing thing or potentially because i submitted an enquiry. Might be worth trying.
Anyone who's looking to buy, please be careful with the cash reward. The GST component of the purchase will not be counted for Cash Reward, so final cost of the monitor is approximately $500, assuming full 14% cash back (see below before taking this as final).
That aside, I had a similar issue to Oteta, whereby the cash reward pending was nowhere near the 14%. I used a gift card, purchased cheaply, so figure will differ from above.
Discounted price less gift card and GST - $293.91
Pending cashback - $6.17
Cash back rate of 2%.I have submitted an inquiry so will report back once I have further information.
Yeah when I ordered I only got cashback of $10 from a $520 without GST purchase, I've already cancelled the order due to other reasons but also sent them an email about this.
Okay submitted and they have amended it to the 14%. No issue now.
How's this for a gaming monitor?
