  Probably not in this form factor. Think about a the height of a PCB with an SODIMM slot mounted on it. Then think about where in this case you could fit that.

    Yes, only 1.2kg and so thin. 8GB is enough. Especially with SSD, less need for disk caching.
    
    A shame there is no touchscreen and fold-back tablet mode though. It is light enough.

  Maybe not, but close, and it is less than half the price.
  The Air looks less pretty with a couple of dongles hanging off because it has no USB-A ports :-)
