    Unbelievable price!

    • +17

      unbelievable warranty!

"The warranty is valid for 90 days after purchase"

(to be honest most of these chinese places will fight you tooth and chopstick to avoid doing any warranty work, at least these guys spit in your face front and center)

Wait ! You a real person?
LoL, I was thinking that you are official Ozbargain AI bot because the way you keep on posting stuff.

      • He is bot that can also have conversation.

      • +1

He's a cyborg. Part human, part bargain machine that executes deals.

        • 🤣🤣🤣 what?

The Mi Band 4 retails for $59 not $506, so the deal isn't really that good. This price isn't that uncommon either.
      i.e. https://www.amazon.com.au/Xiaomi-Bracelet-Resistant-Bluetoot…

        • $15.56 Delivery
      • +$15 for shipping though

      • Thanks you for saving my money 😁

    • I'm slow. I just realised this is Dilbert

  • +1

    But eh…

"We’ll refund your money if your item isn’t delivered within 75 days"

    Zapals take note!

  • Anyone bought from this store before? Can you pay via PayPal?

    • I went through the process and Paypal is an option.

I did not purchase because I am not sure of the store's reputation….

    • Yes can pay via PayPal

  • I don't think I'd be trusting this. Says it was originally $506 and joom seems to have a terrible reputation online. Buyer Beware.

  • -7

i just google it and get AS$24 at other stores…. unless it is different product…

    • +1

      Link please?

    • It would have taken 5 seconds to paste the link

    • +1

I believe "it is different product…"

    • Bullshit. They would be fake.

  • +1

They are selling the mi band 4 in blue and red as well? What?

  • +1

Website has bad rep, selling blue and red. Best to avoid

  • Sceptical of seller reputation and warranty.

  • +1

Great price and wouldn't mind picking one of these up but can't bring myself to risk it.

  • -1

Better to buy this one for $45.43. Australian seller and fast shipping.
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/100-Genuine-Xiaomi-Mi-Band-4-Sma…

    • You have to buy 2 for that price?

  • +1

I cannot and do not in any way vouch for the quality of the store or the seller below, but I was able to order a Mi Band 4 for AUD $21.24 delivered, and pay with PayPal so I have some protection if the band does not arrive or is not as described (e.g. not genuine), by doing the following:

    • open https://www.wish.com/product/5d32b7f021a42e26e99199a2?source…
    • Need to create account if don't have one.
    • I went for Normal price -> Black.
    • Add to card, for me came up as AUD $18.05 + $5 shipping = $23.05. The prices on this site are dynamic, so can vary up or down, as can shipping, so if see a different price that's probably why.
    • Apply the code "WISH10SK" to get 10% off (subtracts AUD $1.81, total = AUD 21.24).
    • If shipping is too high, can click on "Wish" logo on top left to leave cart. Say "Yes" to leaving the cart, then click around or leave for a few minutes, and see if shipping drops (may or may not work). Again, this relies on the dynamic pricing kicking in.
    • Make sure to pay with PayPal.

So there is some risk, but given the PayPal protection I was willing to accept that risk.

Edit: someone has started a "Buy With Other Shoppers" section, which looks like it may allow it to purchased a few dollars cheaper as a kind of group buy, so could try that first.

    • +4

Most likely fake, these are normally over $35 usd

I'm guessing you'll waste your time if you ordered it.

Some peeps on Slickdeals bought $16 USD ones and they turned out to be all fakes, see here
      https://slickdeals.net/f/13244815-xiaomi-mi-band-4-30-51?pag…

      • Well, that doesn't look promising! How to I tell if it's fake? I assume the Mi Fit app will refuse to connect to fake ones?

Edit: I double-checked that item description, and it does not say "Xiaomi" in any of the text or the images (they use the same images as legit listings, except the Xiaomi logo has been photoshopped out), so I preemptively cancelled the order on the basis that they could send me a fake and then say "but we never said it was a genuine Xiaomi product".

        • +1

@nickj Think you might have dodged a bullet there :)
          Looking at the specs
          -Bluetooth 4.0 not 5.0
          -Battery 90maH not 135maH

          Warning Will Robinson….warning! ;)

    • +3

It is fake… click on the link and its called M4 Band, not Mi Band 4. So its a knock off, 100%. All the 'reputable' chinese sellers (gearbest, Banggood) have it for $45ish, so no way is it available at the price you bought it for.

I would suggest you get your money back now if you can.

      • +1

Thank you, and I think you're right. I have just cancelled the order, and they said I will be refunded on to my original payment method (PayPal).

Edit: and it's now been refunded back into PayPal (can see in list of transactions), so all good - thank you.

    • +1

Yes it is. If you select the product the Mi Band 4 is out of stock and they also list this BS fake product called the M4. Highly misleading. Be sure you report it.

  • +1

does it link with strava cycling easily?/at all

    • Don't think it does at all (real or fake) but I have my Garmin for my riding stats :)

  • I bought it two weeks ago for $50!😭😭

  • +3

I purchased two through Paypal, am I protected if these are fakes?

  • +2

Through the app I got this for $31.40 with free delivery.

Doesn't look fake. Mentions Xiaomi Mi Band 4.

    Use PayPal, use with caution.

    • +1

Thanks mate, I've got it for $29.40 trough app.

  • -2

Come on people, these are fake….

  • Thanks OP!

  • +1

Not the cheapest because I got mine in the JD deal for $29.63

    • +1

      $29.40 for me through app.

      • Same here through Joybuy for 28 with coupons

        • share how, please?

  • Ordered a Blue band, hopefully Delivery is prompt.

  • Looks sold out, have reported to mods to add "out of stock" tag.

  • I bought one from eBay for $48 with code PLUNGE. ETD 2nd Aug.

  • I do absolutely love it. Very comfortable, long battery life and the price is unbelievable as well.

I received the counterfeit product m4 smart bracelet today. Opened a Paypal dispute.

  • +1

    Confirmed received fake

    • Same here, contacted Joom and they asked me to smash the watch and send them a picture. Once done they sent me a full refund via PayPal.

      • Same here - is this actually required or do we just proceed with PayPal dispute.
Not that I really care - i can't pair the thing anyway.
        Cheers

      • I didn't have to do that.

  • M4 band is being retailed around $10 on eBay!!!

  • Received mine and have emailed them for return and refund.

    • +1

You shouldn't have to return a counterfeit item. It's actually illegal. Enjoy your fake.

      • Yep. They are issuing a refund (possibly 14 days wait). Did not even mention to return the item.

I guess they are receiving a ton of these emails at the moment. I wonder how much they actually sold and are betting on people who do not know/care and probably making a profit from that.

Update: The refund from paypal has already been received.

  • Received my counterfeit item yesterday. They want pic of package/packing with label. Didn't keep this. What are they trying to check?

    Have lodged PayPal dispute now.

    • Well you should provide evidence.

      • Have provided pic of counterfeit item box. They want pic of parcel which I don't have any more.

  • Paypal dispute lodged :/

  • received dodgey counterfeit also, have emailed joom asking for refund

  • PayPal ask to have the item returned to an oversea address Joom SIA Gustava Zemgala gatve 78-1 Riga, LV-1039 LV

How is this justified, any way to deal with this or I have to swallow it up to these scammers?

    • You will likely have to cop the pain of having to go send itback however should be able to get the cost refunded.

    • After a month of paypal farting around the same happened to me. Go to the JOOM support and submit for a refund. Mine was refunded within a few hours through JOOM. I wont be using paypal anymore.

      • thanks for this insight, i tried this and now Joom is pushing me around and ask for the parcel photo in the plastic wrap which i have thrown away when open it the parcel, did they ask you this

    • UPDATE: I sent them the photo of the actual unit unused and advised that the plastic wrap has been binned when i open it. They provided the refund after a few hours. Support was pretty responsive.

      • PayPal dispute asked me to send it back to them at my cost and then PayPal will give me shipping back upto $45. Shipping to that place is like ~$36 with Auspost. I don't think econo shipping has tracking which paypal needs…

Called PayPal and the guys attitude was shocking… visa/mastercard from now on for sure. Absolutely shocking

Will contact Joom direct again. Previous emails had no reply
