Doesn't really matter. Full warranty, great price
Oh I can't afford it, I was more so genuinely curious if it were normal to have that many damaged boxes of a specific (brand new) model.
I believe some most likely are damaged. Though its a way for Sony to sell direct and under RRP without annoying their dealers/distributors/stores/etc.
I think this is more of the case as well.
New model and already box damaged. Haha
They get damaged during transport in the shipping containers and while in transit to the warehouse
Max discount is $500
$2999-$500=$2499Nope, apply discount at the checkout and it will come down to 2399.

75" X95G $3996 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/163743051398
85" X85G $5999 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/153578997044Big jump to 75".
They look amazing though ;)
The damaged box is hardly worth a mention. Extremely minor. Had one delivered yesterday, I practically have to have a hard good look to find where it has been damaged and it is located right at the bottom about 10cm long and is not even ripped. For that, they shaved off hundreds of dollars plus 20% eBay discount, what a (Oz)bargain. You can easily be mistaken that it happened during transportation to your address. The rest of the packaging is in perfect condition, unopened.
They must have humpty dumpty working in their warehouse
No, but I'm sure that there is someone with a hammer or something carefully knocking dents into the boxes. ;)
Do u know sony use ips panel for this or not ? Thanks
Online reviews say VA panels.
hey guys i've tried to look for it online but can't find clarification, would this be akin to an OLED display?? or slightly below?
Its lesser to OLED but has some benefits such as brighter. Priced lower though
LED means LED backlight, behind LCD panel. Just allows for thinner panels, higher contrast, local dimming (for HDR). Nowhere near the colour or contrast and black levels of an OLED though.
OLED > QLED > LED
OLED are better than high end Samsung which are better than high end Sony.
Saying that…these are great TV's and good bang for buck.
Box damaged, more than 10 available.
Is this normal?
