Correct me if I am wrong, I believe that they are grey imports, so they provide the warranty in Aust, not Sony.

FYI the RX100 VII just dropped, mic input has to be a great new feature (same as G7XMKIII FINALLY) Price won't be anything like this, but worth a look if you are making an upgrade.

But I think he is bluff tho.
