I have this lens and whilst it's not my sharpest and certainly not my fastest, it's still a great 'general use' lens for outdoors.
EDIT: When I say it's not my sharpest, that is in comparison to expensive primes. It's going to be more than sharp enough for most people.

With a7rii-iv you can crop in heaps and or use clear image zoom for almost double the range in video and high levels of crop with good image quality

I have this lens: it was my go-to for a trip to Everest Base Camp earlier this year. Paid similar price for local stock with TRS. Hunts a little on my A7RII, but really sharp results throughout range for a zoom.
