    • +1

      YES !!!

        calm down

      • +1

bought one. Thanks TA and JV

  • +14

    Thanks TA

    Excellent price.

      ….word homie.

      • +11

one note to add - these puns are horrible

        • +2

          You both excel at puns

@WhiteEvo6: We're all able to Access them and Share the Point!

        • +1

That's a powerful point but not the right outlook

          • +1

@Impecunious: Good thing I upgraded my computer so everything can now fit on OneDrive

  • Got it thanks

    • +5

Why not use Open Office instead ?

      • +6

        Because it's garbage.

    • +3

Because that is theft and illegal.

      • +17

No it isn't theft, it copyright infringement.

For the slow of wit, the difference is considerable. You have a banana, I take it off you, that's theft, only one of us can have the banana. You have a print on the wall, I take a photo of it and go print it out and hang it on my wall, that's copyright infringement.

That said, I use Libre Office.

        • -3

You wouldn't steal a car, you wouldn't steal a handbag, you wouldn't steal a television, you wouldn't steal a movie. Downloading pirated films is stealing.

Tell it to the judge son

          • -5

@Ozimodo: You cannot buy it without online storage or that bs Skype credit. Paying for something unnecessary.

Not to mention Windows 10 PROFESSIONAL software overloaded with crap like games, news, weather and other stuff that pops up again and again with every update.

Taking freedom from users is also stealing.

    • +2

it's illegal and you cannot download office 365. Office 365 is a service for fee which include lastes MS Office suite( Office 2019 at the momment)

    • +3

because you also dont get the 1TB of one drive for 6 users to backup all your photos… because you have to constantly find ways to activate the dodgy version, because there are tonnes of malware infested torrents to sift through, because this comes to a dirt cheap $6.50 per month for all of the above…. list goes on

      • Working fine for me.

    • Why? Because I want 6 Tb of cloud storage, pretty worthwhile for under $77

  • +13

You can stack it up to 5 years.

    • +2

you rock! exactly what i was looking for :)

    • +1

With two copies of these, do i activate them both immediately or activate the second when the first is near expiry?

      • +4

you can stack them right away. dont have to wait until near expiry

        • +1

          Alright, thanks!

        • ignore.

Or just sign up to a Uni of Tas free course and get O365 free for life (if they still have courses for free?). Did this a few years ago on a random course which you got a free fitbit for doing the course too!

    • -1

Doesn't that only get you the 'Office 365 Education' version?

      • +2

I believe it's supplemented by Office 365 ProPlus too. I can install this on 5 devices and it includes: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher, Access, Skype and 1TB of OneDrive space.

        • Can confirm "Office 365 ProPlus and Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher, Access" but I don't get skype and OneDrive Storage.

          • @CC123: I have access to copies from CSU and UON and both get access to skype for business and 1tb onedrive. Maybe the university your enrolled with cheap out on the full package.

    • +2

      Link for the free courses?

    • Noice. So after registering with UTAS do you then enroll to a free course, and then they give you a .edu.au email address?

      • As below, you'd probably need to wait for a course to be offered, then sign-up/enroll.

    • +5

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/utas.edu.au

Unfortunately no courses right now, they look to have run a free intake in May for Sustainable Living.

I got a utas.edu.au email address, access to O365 on my computers, free copy of Windows 10 Education via onthehub and plenty of other student perks via the edu email address.

Back in 2017 I enrolled in the Foundations of Technology for Healthy Living. I found it quite interesting and used it as a starter to see how difficult I'd find it to study with 2 kids and a full-time job.

    • +1

      O365 free for life

It's not for life. They purged a lot of inactive students last year 😉

      • Yep, realised that last month 😭

        • They're a terrible and very dodgy university anyway.

          • +1

@Clear: That's alright, I'll sign up to that free gardening course once it's back lol and then make sure my account stays active ah ah (I probably didn't change my password when they asked me to)

    • +1

That’s dodgy as hell. Where do I sign up?

  • Can you still get the 1 user version for 4 years and then add 1 month of 5 user which converts the whole 4 years and a month to 5 user? That 'trick' worked back in 2015 when I last bought Office, and as such my license is expiring in October this year…

  • Not sure if this is allowed.

I bought a very similar product to the one below over a year ago and it still works. Just in case someone is looking for a cheaper option.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Microsoft-Office-365-LIFETIME-AC…

    • "We own and are entitled to sell each item, these are legally acquired therefore entitled to sell each item."

I doubt that statement. Its certainly an option for people to consider but you aren't buying a 100% legitimate licence and you're at the mercy of the seller not having their activation cancelled for misusing their licences.

    • You'd want to be extremely careful with these, they don't give you a key, rather an account with access to these products. Who knows what could happen to the account down the track.

    • +4

Do not buy this, even though the price is crazy tempting - it is not worth it.

This doesn't give you a license key, they give you an account in an already setup organisation (such as a uni).

The BIG problem with this is the organisation has access, control and viewing rights to the account so effectively can view anything you upload to Onedrive - pretty scary stuff for the uninformed.

Not to mention when they discover the illegal accounts - they will close them down and you'll be left with nothing.

      • they will close them down and you'll be left with nothing.

And anything you've stored on OneDrive will be gone, likely without notice.

      • +1

Was just going by my experience thus far.

I have had no problems and for $6 I wouldn't be too fussed if it got cancelled as I have had it over a year and has saved me money so far.

Also yes I can understand the privacy concerns that's why I only save to my desktop and upload to google drive.

  • +4

This post made me check my re-occurring MS Office subscription, and I've been paying $129 p/a for the last 3 years.. ugh, I feel sick. Lesson learnt. Thank you TA!

  • +6

Pro tip, share the folders from the other 5 users to 1 main user = 6 TB cloud storage for $76 a year.

Currently backing up 5TB+ of media.

  • +2

    Pro Tip 2

When you apply the activation code, select the payment option of 'Auto Renewal'.

This will give you an extra month for free. Then afterwards, just delete the auto renewal option and profit.

    • Does this work with stacking too?

  • Hi Guys,

Why are these guys selling this lifetime version so cheap. How does this work.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/INSTANT-Microsoft-Office-365-201…

    • +3

It's apart of a OneDrive for Business account. They generate as many accounts as they like and sell them off. They can have access to all your files and can be gone without warning.

It violates Microsoft's T&C's and eventually gets shut down.

I reported this one a couple of days ago and seems as though eBay has shut it down.

  • Do they send you a Tax Invoice for work purposes?

  • +1

Too late. “This item is out of stock”.

  • +1

Using office 2007 and it still works. Don't understand why everyone is jumping onto a subscription based solution.

    • +1

      OneDrive storage

      • Ever had a NAS?

        • Yeah but for me, a NAS can stop or the power can out or the internets drops out and my files are no longer accessible (remotely).

OneDrive is unlikely to suffer from this.

    • +2

I use it for cloud storage for me and my family.

Essentially $6.40 a month gets 6 uses 1TB each, which works out to be $1.07 per user per month.

WAY cheaper than any other cloud storage!

      • +2

I guess if your whole family is working on an assignment together that makes sense for the convenience but apart from that I still can't see the benefit.

        • +1

The OneDrive storage available to each user within O365 home is independent from each other unless you specifically share it. I purchase O365 Home for my family so that each person in my family has their PC's and the photos on their phones backed up without them (or I) having to think about USB hard drives or any other hardware required for backups.
I used Amazon Glacier previously for backups, and OneDrive is much cheaper to use. And then there are benefits for photo/album sharing, access files at home/work and a bunch of other features.

    In Stock again

  • I remember the day when Office 2007 was around $130 for a disc and no sub needed.

$76 for a year seems insane in comparison, I mean six users sure but even so.

    • Each user gets 1TB OneDrive. Great value there!

    • +1

I remember the day when Office 2013 was $15 😢

      • Still have my code and it works!

        • +1

I got a new laptop, and you can't transfer the license 😭

          • @gilbarc: I've had many PC's since then.

Uninstall it from the old laptop it you can and it may work, it did on my Desktop eventually.

  • Just renewed for $129 on July 17 :(

    But will stack :)

  • Hi how quickly before you received the code?

    2.15pm purchase
    3.30pm receipt from Bing Lee
    ??? Code

    Still don’t have it

    • 2 1/2 hours between making the order and getting the code for me

      • same for me. i was worried it would arrive in a few days.

        • Still dont have the code, 4 hours later. Checked spam and not there

          • @bugoy8: I ordered from them in June and the code took 12 hours to arrive.

            • @Scanorama: Still nothing, over 12 hours later. Hope I get this today.

Wonder what the experience is from others?

  • It is legal to resell software keys in Germany (and some other EU cointries iirc). Have bought keys from German ebay accounts and haven't had one revoked.

  • The eBay checkout errors with:

"This code can't be applied to your order."

    Is the code still working?

    • I'm getting the same message.
Is anyone else still having any luck with it?

      • +1

I ended up purchasing as a guest, which worked.

Still have no idea why I got the error - a bit of Googling revealed that it may have been because me eBay "registered address" was set to the US. Mine was set to Australia though, so no dice.

        • Awesome, that worked! Thanks very much. I'm living in Canada now so that explains why mine wouldn't work, although I was using my parent's address in Oz.

  • Can you stack business premium subs?

  • Worked great thanks. Bought 2 and stacked them.

  • FYI.. if you buy multiple items in one transaction the price per unit is ~$81.

I did 3 seperate transactions of one year each in order to get the $76 price.

I tried a 4th time but they won't allow me to use the promo code and say it's already been used.

    • +1

I bought with quantity 2 and it worked out at $76.80 each

      Order total
      Subtotal: AU $192.00
      Postage: Free
      Total voucher amount: -AU $38.40
      Total: AU $153.60

  • Code has now expired sadly.

  • Anyone knows if the voucher code has expiry date?

  • My current MS office subscription is until 02/2020. Trying to put in the product key from this deal is only extending it till 30-07-2020. NOt stacking up to the current subscription.
Anyone else having the same problem?
How long can I wait before activating the key? Does the product key expire?

  • DOes anyone know this:

If I purchase Office 365 from the Apple App Store (because I have approx $500 credit in there from all those 20% deals from Costco), can I then still apply one of these codes I purchase from Bing Lee? Or is App Store purchase somehow special and won't allow future independent voucher applications?
