Or just ask if they can credit you the difference in store credit.
Return it under their 7 day 'no questions asked' change of mind return policy. Then re-buy the game at $36.

@Faro: its now back up to full price. but typing n mortal kmbat at the time should have shown the 3 prices. sometimes u have to click amazon us or amazon au to force the price from that store rather than default.

I don't think it's a real thing after the launch window. Especially when they reduce the other console versions.
You'll notice that other retailers reduce the same games on all platforms (e.g. Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy, LA Noire) to the same price unless there's a huge difference in release dates (E.g. Doom, Wolfenstein 2, Skyrim).

Buying small things like this with Zip/Afterpay is a slippery slope. If you can afford it, just buy it outright.
