Having owned a lot of speakers the sonyxb30 is better than the UE megaboom 3. My friend has these xb32 and much better than my xb30.
So I'm assuming xb32 are comparable to megablast
I suppose it depends what you're comparing. Price range/size/volume would be still Megaboom 3. Megablast is too big/double the price

Yeah was surprised too. Xb31 is awesome, and found really just few small differences so far - added live button, obviously slightly different design and the lights are synced now to the beat. The last being a nice touch, I don't have any trouble with my unsynced though as it flashes nicely anyway😁

I saw a comparsion site and it said xb32 has NFC while xb31 does,
trying to work out what nfc does on speakers
I read some review that it isn't synced but seems to be according to Sony's website.
XB31 has NFC. It's used for easy pairing via Bluetooth. So that's not the difference either😃
