An older tablet, but has quite decent features for its price - namely high res screen and LTE support. Also USB-C. I had one, which I was happily using for reading eBooks, but then mysteriously managed to crack the screen - at this price it's more practical to replace then to pay parts + labour for repair.

  • hows the battery life?

    • According to the advertising it's 4 hrs gaming, 6 hrs video and 20 hrs music. I would say I get between 5-6 hours light/medium usage - fb, teamviewer, web browsing, ebooks at close to max brightness - I don't really game at all so can't say about that.

  • Have you had any luck with a custom ROM like lineage or is the ROM good enough as it is

    • It seems to be a pretty stock ROM. No bloatware that I can see. I don't think this supports lineageOS, though I haven't really checked.

      • Cheers mate, it has been long time since I dabbed with Custom ROMs, Need to check more on this

    • AFAIK only snapdragon based devices have custom ROMs

  • Anyone know if the Helio x27 has any drawbacks in comparison with x20 and x23 which were in prior revisions?

  • I wonder if they have the SD card/slot issue sorted that plagues the chuwi hi10
