All time low as far as I can tell.
Outstanding deal, even though it's an older model. Refurb sellers currently charge more than this price for the same model.

Are you sure yours is the cellular/5G version?
your right. its not.. .doh!!
still, better cpu, more storage, newer model
For sure, the M3 is way better of course. This is a great deal for anyone wanting a cheap brand new M series iPad though. Bought this to upgrade my wife's old A12-based iPad. That lasted her 6 years so this one should get the same or more 🤞
@morrispresso: should have done the m3, its frikking amazing to sum it up.
who needs cellular? there's wifi everywhere nowdays
@vodamerc: You can also just hotspot your phone. Does miss the GPS though, although in truth that is only relevant for work applications, or if the owner uses the iPad as a camera (hate those guys!).
@Nilfunds: I remember M1 was major. Is M3 even that different to M1? Doubt you would even notice a difference between the M series
@Fuzor: On a Mac yes, not so much iPad (although that was M2 to M3 on IPA, and M2 to M4 on IPP(which I did).
Got 15% myself through an Apple employee portal for the air
i just bought a m2 ipad air 6th gen from officework for $740 128g…price beat with costco with no issue
Are you sure yours is the cellular/5G version?
Same, I returned this cellular version and got the m2. Luckily I did not open it.
How did you get this price? I see costco as $949.99 or I must have the wrong link

The only shinning point is —> Wi-Fi/Cellular (yes, if you really need this, it is the most balanced of cheapest ipad you can get)
But with the storage size only 64GB and the 2 generation back which are the only down side.
only
major
Worth it if you can survive with 64GB.
Apple release a 64gb simply to punish consumers who chose not to spend more money.
64GB really isn’t sustainable with iOS 18 and it’ll only get worse over time.
Well, that's apple
Is cellular still that important to general consumers? I know we need it work wise but typical user with their fancy apple mobiles can just link them …. 🤔
I use mine to call people on it. Some days I just take my iPad and leave my phone at home. Most people can reach me via any of the popular chat apps. Only calls I normally receive are people asking me about my latest Amazon Prime charge or in a Chinese auto script asking me about stuff.
My dad is one of those users with Samsung phone and iPad. He likes having his iPad on a separate SIM card running off its own cellular network. He doesn’t want to hear about hotspot, and to be honest running a hotspot all day from his cheap Samsung will just kill the battery off.
I hotspot off a 13 mini.
I do get most of the day out of it but very little charge after about dinner time.
Who wants to faff around with hotspots? I use my ipad on cellular all the time. Pick up and go
If you have an iPhone, hotspotting is very seamless with iPads, but cellular provides the ultimate convenience at a price. I have over a terabyte of data banked up with Amaysim on my mobile plan, so have a separate sim for my iPad not worth the cost for me.
Why do you need cellular. Just hot spot off your phone
There are use cases for cellular on an iPad…
1). Can use it as an all in one device… you don't really need a phone number these days for people to reach you.
2). Houses that don't have a need for fixed broadband. I have setup a few iPads for family friends who needs are just a device to be able to video call and watch streaming video. Helps defrays the cost when JB have those large gift card deals. Works out cheaper than hooking up fixed broadband and buying a WiFi only device.
3). People who use their phones with small plans.
4) the cellular models have GPS a antenna, so if you see yourself using GPS navigation, then the cellular version may be worth it.
It's easier and more convenient
Only the cellular version comes with GPS.
not that outstanding.
picked up m3 ipad air 128 gb Monday for $920 with apple pencil pro,
dump the pencil on Fbook, and it's $820
