Navman MY65T $199 - The Good Guys

10

Saw this on TV last night. Been shopping for the Navman MY65T for awhile and ive never seen this model advertised below $200. Infact cheapest ive seen it before is $224. Excellent value for someone looking for a decent GPS, especially with the 3yr maps promotion.

  • Have you used navman before? I have been looking for a GPS lately and I seem to have only heard bad things about navman :(

This review isn't too promising either:

    • From most reviews and personal experience TomTom and Garmin are better than Navman. Neither competes with Navman on the promo 3yr map update (which always seems to be running), tt and garmin only offer a couple of months updates.

      • Yeah I have heard quite a few things about Navman GPS's having hardware problems, customer service with Navman being terrible, and also it seems to favour illegal u turns etc when giving you directions. and other such things. I have never owned one myself though.

How often do you really need map updates anyway?

  • i coulda sworn this model was $177 at officeworks at one stage, now its $199.

  • +1

Officeworks had the MY60T which looks identical to the MY65T, ive been looking around at both models, but the MY65T has bluetooth handsfree function.

I previously owned an older model Navman with no issues
