Amazon and Harvey Norman are both doing the Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield Dual Pack for $138, down from the RRP of $159. Works out to be $69 per game, which isn't great but is the best pre-order price so far.

I’ve found Amazon typically notifies you when you purchase of the Price Drop Promise or something along those lines, where if the price on their site drops prior to launch, you’ll get the lowest price offered from your order date to launch date.
Edit: I don’t think all preorders are covered by this, but there will be a notice of it if it’s offered prior to ordering

So confused as to the point of this if they are just the same price as getting them individually anyway. That's not how double packs should work.

Lots of people angry at this but each game usually has different pokemon exclusives
This edition realistically is to:
1. cater for couples, buddies, siblings to play the game and encourage co-op
2. make more money
I'm gonna wait to get this on nintendo shop instead ..
Exclusives are pretty meaningless now that you can just wonder trade online.
Different versions are not necessary to encourage co-op either.
The only reason I'd get this is to share with a mate, but it's pointless if it is the same price as buying it individually.

Received the notification for the price drop on this. Locked it in on Amazon. I'm sure it might get a little cheaper before release though.
