They're pretty good and are easy to set-up despite the naff instructions. I use one on an older 1st gen Google Chromecast because the 2.4gHz wi-fi was always subject to to rf interference. This unit provided a quick and stable fix.
If you don't like the results, (if that was possible), the Amazon Prime return process is pretty quick and simple. A lot easier than eBay.

Chromecast Ultra already has a LAN port in the power plug.
i use this product for my Nintendo switch. works very well.
