At the Chatswood Sony store, I saw XM3 on sale, and I did a circle around the corner to see what else they got. The price went back to retail, and they wont sell me at that discounted price I saw few seconds ago. :(

Very underwhelming Prime day this year, big let down. Their Xbox One X discount was pathetic.
I expected this to be honest.
Same happened with first prime day on USA. Excellent deals, but the next year (2016), awful deals all the way and since then, no good deals on prime day at amazon USA.
I kept Prime in hopes that there would be a few bargains, but absolutely nothing has caught my attention this year aside from the Sonos Playbar which I missed.
I bought a month of prime with a new account just for the $10 credit for the first time streaming. Ended with like 4 movies, a backpack, and a handheld vacuum cleaner.
But definitely, last year was way better. They are lowering some prices (like samsung s10e and Ps4 pro fornite bundle) because probably they are not selling that much.

I went to view order and have a question or something similar. It said 'price has dropped since you purchased so we will refund you the difference if you've already paid'
I'm assuming this is before shipment? I've had experiences with them saying they don't match prices with themselves, even if the order was just shipped and not arrived yet.
They refused to refund me the $10.
They were happy for me to return the item with free postage and for me to buy another at $399…..
Worst case is claim price protection insurance if you purchased using the right credit card

Thoughts? the current price for PS4 slim is $275 (plus cashback). Is it worth spending $124 for all of the above just because the pro offers slightly better graphics? how many games are in 4k these days, not many.But i know the new games will be made for 4k tv's but ps5 is also coming in 15 months or so.

It's not just the graphical resolution boost but also performance in games. Some just don't run all that well on the standard PS4. But given the PS5 will be backward compatible and likely have the PS4 Pro enhancements built in (and possibly even better if patches for BC games are made), getting a Slim is fine. Then trade in towards a PS5 at the end of next year (when it releases).

For that price it is 100% worth it if you don't have a PS4. I had the original and it was still pretty good and hardly missed a beat, I did however put in a 2TB HDD because 500GB is not enough considering updates are a few GB these days. Biggest downfall is how slow it downloads even with a good connection which I think is the same for the slim. The PRO is definitely better for downloading and better load times (honestly not much). If you are just a casual gamer the slim is fine but for $399 the PRO is a good enough upgrade to me.
there are some work arounds for that
by default you download updates / and items from the ps store from the US servers. If you just block there IPs it fail then fall back to AU servers and your download speeds improve a ton. You need to reserve these changes once your downloads are done tho since it does block from P2P match making servers

Just send a picture with the code from ebay message. Other sellers sell this from $50. So I put an auction from 25 to 40, someone buys it in 10 minutes after I spent 20 minutes to post the item. I guess it is a good price.
wow if I knew this I would have bought it, brings the price down to $300 almost.
Be careful with codes on eBay though, lots of scammers, I rather sell for $5 less on here
