can't seem to find any proper reviews on this, so not sure how good/bad the notebook is.

however, pricing seems quite good considering it retails for $549:

..and prices on static ice aren't any better:

  • cpu is on par with:

    AMD Athlon II P360 3728
    Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 3732.5
    Celeron Dual-Core T3100 3740

CQ62 shell is not a bad chassis

    i have a CQ42 and it's well built

not excellent but good for the money

  • Looks good if you need something cheap but larger screen and better performing than Atom/Zacate netbooks. If we're lucky we might shortly see notebooks at pretty close to this price with low-end Llano processors, which have greatly improved integrated graphics.

Definitely worth it to spend a bit more, and get something better.

Used a T6100 I think, and it was absurdly slow. Felt like an atom, or worse.

Not so bad with office/firefox, but for some reason, puzzle quest (we're not even talking the sequel) would take an unexaggerated 90 seconds to start. It's a 2d thing that shouldn't take more guts than a 386 could muster.

I'd advise everyone here that the $100 savings vs an i3 is not worth it. Excruciating.
