      Depends on what you're using it for, but I decided the Mate 20 was still better - it's newer, better CPU, newer version of Android, still a good camera, headphone jack, bit bigger screen, expansion slot (albeit proprietary).

      Mate 20 beats p20 pro in all depts except main cam.

      Mate 20 has 3.5mm jack.

      Mate 20 has 7nm chip, which is better than latest qualcomm and latest intel desktop cpu.

      Jb mate 20 price has gone up to $899.

      I would take this over the Mate 20 as it has official LineageOS builds, while the Mate 20 doesn't.

        Hmmmm. If only video wasn't so sucky, would beat iphone 8 hopefully need to take a lot of product photos sometimes for clients. No expandable storage? Meh. How do android users transfer files without airdrop lol.

          I can't say for other android users, but I usually just use the MTP protocol and connect it to my computer via a type c cable.

          I do it a few ways, NFC just touch the phones together, via Bluetooth, via wifi, via google lol

          I am sure you can do it via nfc and Bluetooth with Apple too can’t you (or maybe you can’t) Apple doesn’t have (never has have) expandable storage as well.

          Cameras/video are rated higher than iPhone 8 and 10 when I read about it on dxo

    I've had this for a year, cost just over $1000 then (thankfully work paid for it). It's got a very good camera (especially for this price) and everything else works well. I'm sure there are 'faster' phones out there but it's never felt slow to me in daily use. Stunning deal for this price.

        Not that I've ever noticed. It's picked up a couple of minor wear and tear scratches along the way but I haven't put a screen protector on so my own fault really. Still looks great.

          When I got this phone it came pre-applied with a screen protector, are you sure you don't have one on? Unless you peeled it off

            @iori57: Nah it didn't have one already applied, but it did have one in the box which I put on for a while. Didn't like it (probably didn't put it on perfectly) so took it back off. Absolutely no screen bleed that I can see.
