Dog flea treatment can be lethal for cats. Only use flea treatment formulated for cats on cats.

  This is Comfort Plus and the one in the link is Comfortis for fleas only. That information is 6 years old and if their products were really this bad then I'd expect to see them off the market or at least a lot of protesting pet owners posting information. My dog has beentaking Comfortis Plus for over three years and she's as healthy and active as can be.
