Cheaper than this deal a month ago. Check in that post if you have any questions
Have this TV for anyone wanting to know
Feels identical to our Hisense P6 in the bedroom (2018 model)
Pros
- Good picture quality
- Low motion blur in sports (make sure to disable all the junk smooth motion effects)
- Decent contrast ratio for deep-ish blacks
- Sound is better than i expected
- Netflix/Youtube/Plex work fine (will be connecting a mi box to it regardless)
Cons
- FTA Tuner artifacting on some HD channels?
- Only 2.4Ghz WiFi
- Remote is personal taste but not a fan
- Top bezels have darkened corners
But for $840ish, it's a ripper deal, this is 5x better than SONIQ/Viano/Bauhn etc.

uhh…. good to know?
TMI
can you please post a photo of the remote ?
You have a 65” in the bedroom?
<pun partially intended>
The P4 32" is also cheapest ever at ~$275
I paid $295 at JB in their one day sale a couple of months ago
Any other way for getting delivery cheaper? It's $75 for me :(
Free with ebay plus?
Nope. No free delivery with these bulky items…
Ah damn. I'd still click and collect at these prices!
@King Steuart: it's ok if you have a ute, it's a pretty big and heavy item. I was glad I paid 80 for mine to be delivered.
@lucas001: Yeah fair enough. More talking about the range of Hisense TV's and the one I mentioned above, the P4 32", being the cheapest ever (AFAIK). Can fit a 32" in most cars!
@King Steuart: oh gotcha, yeah that one is fine indeed.. mine was the 65… haha
Ah damn. I'd still click and collect at these prices!
Unfortunately, C&C is not available for this item.
Will they allow you to pick up in store?
Nope
Whats warranty? Had a look in Harvey Norman and JB hi Fi today the tv looked pretty good but lowest they would drop to was $950 (it's advertised at $999 in store)
As far as I know for these are 3 years. Quote: "for the Television (other than accessories): a period of 36 months from the
date on which you purchased the Television as shown in your proof of
purchase (“Date of Purchase”); "
Ultra hd is that same as 4k or is 4k newer than this obviously not got 4k yet
Ultra HD = 4K
How does a Yamaha 108 soundbar work with this anyone have both any hdmi arc issues?
Thanks for the post, just picked one up for the holiday house…
Ain't there two newer models than this one why buy this when there are newer models?
65R5 is the 2019 model - https://hisense.com.au/product/65-series-5-65r5/ There are no other 65R5 model…
Ok must be mixed up with other models i thought there was two newer models than this,so this has more hdmi sockets than previous etc? But aint there issues with firmware. I know its a cheap tv for its size but i have already s cheap tv from target which i purchased a yamaha 108 soundbar for but arc is a waste of time,im sure this brand is same or this brand as issues with yamaha soundbars.
Im using the cheap target tv in living area temp as was in bedroom and using the very old plasma in bedroom instead as there is a bracket on wall.
Have a 65 inch Sony 3d tv in cinema room which will stay there.
But im curious if this wall bracket would hold a 65" tv how will i now. I already have a 55"tv up on that wall.
How thick is the tv as i have seen some crazy thin tvs in store once but maybe they was qled.
Why is arc a waste of time?
@bbnoSam: For my cheap tv and I'm sure there was posts somewhere that said had issues with arc working with Yamaha soundbar on this brand also,I have never had it on other TVs. I'm not saying this tv is rubbish but it is a cheaper model compared to other brands and of similar size.
@bwatt72: Ah ok. Just curious, as I have the Hisense 65P7 with a Samsung soundbar, using arc, and I have a very slight audio delay which drives me nuts. Played around with all of the settings and cannot fix it. Tried a better quality HDMI cable but have the same issue. I previously had an older model Sony TV and Sony Soundbase, connected via arc, and had no sound delay at all
Myers sold out now well never mind there be more deals.
Back in stock now.
Is there any reviews of this tv? And anyone know how thick it is obviously not as thin as qled etc but just curious. And the brand as a tv are they good?
3 yrs ago i almost got this brand but went sony instead.
What is the warranty like any issues,i take some of you might be previous owners of this brand?
Is this better than the TCL P6US 65?
