    It was $1460 + delivery at Appliance Central, sold out fast though. Really great value either way, compared to LED at a similar price point the difference is night and day.

  Damn it!! Went hunting in stores to compare the last deal and it ran out of stock half way through my tour… Ended up pulling the trigger on a C9 55" instead for $2295. For anyone that's interested, these OLEDS are AMAZING. No regrets!

    C9 is a great panel and has HDMI 2.1. Well worth the extra cost, even then that's a good deal. First OLED I've seen that can do well in a well lit room.

    I'd only do it if you watch full screen video fairly often or use at low brightness.

  Would this be ok to use in a well lit living room? Also, which is better? The B8 or the C8? I always forget. One just has a slight faster/newer processor right?

    To my understanding, the QLED from Samsung is better for well lit rooms, and the OLED for darker rooms (the blacks are better). You would be hard pressed to get c8 in stock. If you read some comments above, they discuss the models a bit
