    meh. would rather buy the kogan one but i dont see a point in spending money when i have a monitor already. csgo would benefit 144hz a lot but oh well.

    The last time I bought a monitor it was a $650 Crossover 27” IPS 1440p 144hz.

    Last night my North Bayou monitor arm arrived and their cheapass screw threaded into one of my monitors VESA screw slot and snapped in half. I figure I may as well take a look at a new monitor while I stew over it..

    What’s the recommendation these days? The only thing I’d have changed is maybe larger size and certainly a GSync (I’m always on NVIDIA cards it seems).. but is it me or mainstream prices still don’t seem to be any cheaper than years ago?

      This model in my research does appear to be the best available unless you're interested in Ultrawide. 1440p,144hz and has G-Sync. What more could you want?

      Yeah, I think it's Acer's gaming lineup name. A bit unfortunate that the shirts they were handing out at IEM all said "PREDATOR" in large font on the front.
