  • Would these still work on my Dell Inspiron 5675 which supports DDR4 2400 Ram?

    • -4

Probably not, laptops usually different RAM socket.

      • Mine is a Desktop computer, not a laptop.

      • The 5675 is a desktop PC mate.

    • Unfortunately it looks like they wouldn’t. Looking at this comment from a while back, it seems that Dell locks the BIOS to 2400mHz, so these sticks, if they even worked in your system, would not run at their rated capacity. Sorry mate!

      • Thanks mate. :0)

        • +1

They'd still work though. Ddr4 ram is ddr4 ram regardless of speed.

    • I have this ram on two of my PC's .. One is a Gigabyte H170 ITX with an intel 6100T and the other is a Asrock B150 ITX with a i3 6100

Works great but they only run at 2133Mhz.. Intel Chip set caping the speed.

  • Tempting.. picked these up from the Newegg deal for just under $290… Feel that the prices might just keep sliding down a bit more though, and I could just close a few extra Chrome tabs in the meantime

    • It seems like the B-die hysteria has led to 3200 CL14 and higher staying at sky high prices.

    • Yeah, to be honest if you already have 16GB that's plenty for everyday use. I'll probably get 32GB but that's just to fill out all the RAM slots so they look pretty :)
