Good for those of us still driving old clunkers. No point putting in the good stuff
Frustratingly they've reduced the bottles down to 4L, the bloody nobs..

You know what I mean
This Valvoline 20W50 = $3.375/L
The oils I posted earlier are
Castrol GTX 15W40 = $4.00/L
Chief Cherokee Semi-syn 10W40 = $3.298/L
That Chief Cherokee is a better buy. Its also a grade above (SM instead of SL)
To complicate things, you can use gift cards to buy this. At 5% off that = $12.83
Lol, just to make things even more complicated… SCA giftcards are 9% off for suncorp members, and signing up as a new Club Plus member gives a $5 discount…
Shit are they really? Aw man. And I just bought $60 worth of stuff today. A whole $5 lost.

I only just found out about it, supposedly there is a fee free account if you don't have any of their products.
Thats not how oil grades work.
Sn has less zinc to protect cat converters.
Sl has significantly more high pressure friction modifiers (zddp), which are bad for modern cats.
If you're driving an older car, your cat probably lost efficiency long ago.
Using the 's' rating of oil is not a sign of quality or testing.
Nobs… lol
Is this winter or summer oil?
Good oil if you've got a real shitheap
Still available at postcode 3029 if anyone needs it.
