  • Cheaper than Porlex mini, not sure about quality

      Ceramic burr. Not that durable

      • +1

Porlex and hario are ceramic too.

  • Also of questionable quality, but cant complain about the cheap price.

    was $52 - LOL

6 month ago I bought this exact model off aliexpress for AU$19 delivered.

here's a link but it's gone up in price

it's a nice grinder with adjustable burr.

however it is so slow (I'm impatient) that I gave up after using it once and just buy my coffee ground.

my plan is to remove the handle and add a hex bit to the vertical axle so that I can use my makita cordless drill with it instead.

edit: here is a link from another seller for ~AU$20 delivered

    • how slow ?

how many minutes of grinding ?

      • 1.5-2mins per cup of espresso. It’s definitely a workout!

    • You’ll need to add a nut or two after removing handle for drill plan to work. It worked fine with my makita until I did a big batch at full speed and melted the grinder plastic.

Replaced it with a 2nd hand sunbeam em0480 for $40. Much more convenient.

    • I have a Hario manual grinder and use it with a usb rechargeable ozito driver (and a 6mm Keyless Drill Chuck Adapter). The driver saves about 5 mins of manual grinding per cup. Too much of a hassle for home use (IMHO) but great when travelling.

  • perfect for Aeropress?

    • These grinders are fine for an Aeropress.. For an espresso maker though I wouldn't recommend these. I have the ROK and the grind from a Porlex was a little coarse (just).
