Looks like Amazon AU has price matched BigW for the Nintendo 2DS XL console with Mario Kart 7, but only for the Black-Blue colour console.

  Should've grabbed two 2DSXLs before when they were $79 for the Pokéball edition. Now I'm eagerly awaiting another deal similar to it.

      They are. But Heaps of amazing games for cheap on eBay makes it a great casual gaming experience for those of us on limited budgets. Just so many good games out there. Got the boxing day sale one, gonna be using it for some time.
