Was looking for a cheap fast USB flash drive and found this. Looks quite good value for this capacity / speed.
Reviews confirm it can do sustained 300MB/sec writes. You can get 4.5% cashback from ShopBack also afaik.
Seems you can only order 1 at a time but YMMV.

  • How fast is too fast?

      What did your wife say?

      • Ohhh snapp

        • Phoebus had better run that under cold water for 10 minutes.

    • When it goes faster than your SSD?

In theory this would be a good drive to save live streams or low compression video ingress (albeit 256gb would be too small for that)

I like the drive, but I lose usb drives this small way too easily.

  • You can buy a 1TB for $249. Hmmm.

I think I'm going to save that one for later and monitor its price.

I bought this 10 days ago and it arrived seconds after I saw this post. Speed test.

Ouch… those non seq reads and writes look painful.
This alone stopped me from buying.
It's all good and well if you're only ever handling large files i guess.

Seems like a pretty aggressive name for a USB stick

But if you don't buy it, you don't love your country.

      • I see what was done there, sounds like a patriot act?
