Good price. Was cheaper from Baby and Toddler Town with their $30 off $300 spend voucher last week though - $439 down to $409 - delivery I think was also $9.

They have since upped their price back to $449, so now $419 after voucher

    • Thank you for this info.

  • Is the Kohl colour available?

This is a low profile but high quality seat which is ideal for between 0-18 months when it needs to be rearward facing and you have a small car. We got the millennia for our VW Golf and you have to have the front seat all of the way forward for it to fit. In retrospect I definitely would have bought this instead.

    • +1

That was a consideration for us as our car is smaller than the Golf. Originally tried the Compaq but the lack of aded padding put us off. The Graphene is the same shell, but with more padding.

      • You can keep it rear facing for much longer (around 30months), which is much safer for the child.

Yep, that's a big factor when we bought the Graphene. Bub is still in the capsule for now. The Compaq and Graphene are one of the smallest/narrowest convertibles on the market, so great for a smaller car.

    • yep, we have the millennia in my commodore, and the wife now has the graphene in her wrx
she previously had an old hand me down compaq.
great seats, though she was slightly confused as the strap release is no longer a push button on the graphene

I have 2 of these for my twins. At time they were basically the safest you could get when rating them the same or better than their predecessor on
    https://www.childcarseats.com.au

    • I got one of these as well based on the safety rating. Good quality seat.

  • Anyone has the Britax Platinum Pro+ and fully recommend it? Trying to decide between Milennia, or cheaper car seats that suffice. Hard to tell whats all fluff

    • Platinum pro is huge

    • Buy the safest seat you can afford based on https://www.childcarseats.com.au/

      • Wow, safest one for what I am looking for is the Safety First summit, and thats only $200. More money for nappies i suppose, thanks for the link!

you cant go wrong with the millennia, save yourself some money

      • Millenia are fantastic!! We have one. Paid around $420 for it.

The Millenia Pro and SICT all got released the same time. They're the same product excluding some gold stitching. $200 premium for gold stitching.

        But mums buy it lol…

  • Great car seat and slimline means even if you fit two at the 2nd row there is still chance you can fit a adult in for small cars.

In term of ease of use it just so much better than my other two infasecure seats.

  • This looks great, but how wide are these things? I find many of them are just too wide… taking up more than a single seat space and making it impossible to fit in three child seats on most car rear seat benches.

Edit: Apparently this one is 46.5cm wide!

    • See below for actual width from Britax website. I don't know why Baby Bunting persist in using their own measurements instead of the ones provided by the manufacturer.

    • 44cm wide. It's one of the narrowest/most compact on the market. Also will depend on your car of course.

I paid $394 in December 2018 when ebay had 20% off for Click n collect

      • Great price! I'm okay with $409 as my kid wasn't even born by December lol :)

  • +1

No, this is only 44cm wide so is one of the few that you have a chance of getting three across depending on the car (cx5, outlander, forester, rav4 all ok. Even the sportage fits 3 of these (just!)).

Awesome seat, we bought ours last year. It is very easy to clean as well.

As mentioned above it was by far the best fit for our 2017 Subaru Forester.

We have 2 cars sets in the back and a slim person can fit in the middle (no offense meant)

  • Ordered thanks OP!

Now onto the next thing, looking for a pram!

    • +1

My tip - work out a budget and stick to it. Also go into stores and try them out. See how they steer, how they fold up, how the seat is attached, and weight.
My wife picked one she liked the specs on, but it was heavy, hard to fold up, and didn't steer well. Also check how wide they are, some are narrower between the wheels which makes it easier for moving around shops etc. Personally, I think you can buy extremely good ones for around the $500 mark. If you want to spend $1000+ etc then go for it, but I doubt most OZB people are "look at me and how fancy my pram is" LOL

    • I would highly recommend the Bob Revolution Pro! You won't find a pram anywhere near as good for the money. They are 12kg though so some mums might have trouble..

Baby bunting were going to stock them but it would ruin the pram market as the quality is too high and price so low!

You can still find documents on their website though, hidden.

An equivalent pram with less features would be around $900 from Baby jogger.

  • We have the valco snap 4 trend. Couldn’t be happier with it. Easy to fold up one handed, not too heavy and easy to steer. Also it’s reasonably priced.

  • Damn, both sold out , was going to buy one just then T-T
