Dude it’s only two bux now even with no rides you get free candy which is worth it and some other scenery. Contradicting tickets, important area, tickets expire 180 days from purchase, oh wait, another important section, tickets only last for Vivid! Make up your mind.

At the end of a "Sunday Funday" two weeks ago we jumped off the ferry to have a look through. It was just at dusk and would have been awesome to hop on a couple of rides for $2. There's several indoor sections too, eg Coney Island.

I don’t think it would work, I upgraded a discounted ticket from ExperienceOz to an annual pass and they calculated the difference from what I paid originally.

Got turned away at 720 pm they said it was at least 2 hour waits.

Vivid in general was packed tonight. Took over an hour just to get out of circular quay. I had at least two prams run over my feet.

Place was crazy last night. Mega queues to redeem tickets, queues at the fairy floss , queues at the ferry wharf… Still, had a couple of rides, kids played in Coney Island for a while then we got the train back to the city and enjoyed vivid.
I guess next year they might limit the numbers a bit more or try limiting the amount of cheap tickets per day.
Here Monday night at 6pm, somehow I think they allowed entry before 6pm, so maybe call to check if u want to go earlier, especially if u gave young kids the kiddie ride area closed after evening. Rides ok wait 20 mins each.
We got there at 4:30 and asked if we could pick up our wristbands while there was no line, the guy at the counter said ‘sure, you can use them now you don’t need to wait till 6pm’. Was super happy with that as it got busier as the night went on.
Went there today with family at 6PM no rush enjoyed all the rides weather was just awesome, $2 each person well spent 👍 thanks @Ace26
