Similar deal to JB Hi-Fi and Amazon, although this one also includes a few games/subscriptions (depending on the bundle chosen).

Very useful for combining with AmEx Statement Credit: Microsoft Spend $500 or More, Get $100 Back deal. To get the minimum spend (additional $1) suggested purchases would be these $0.75 and $0.25 games.

+1 for finding items to add the extra $1

  • Does cash rewards work on this purchase to bring it down further?

  • Cash back
ShopBack 1.5% for further $7.5 or
    Cashrewards 1.4% For further $7

    • I believe it's excluding GST, mine tracked for $6.85 through ShopBack

  • I would wait until the Microsoft stores summer sales begins 7th June (assuming American time so probably 8th June to be safe).

you'll also be able to save $100 on a brand-new Xbox One X and get $50 off other Xbox One S bundles and the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition. If you're in need of new controllers, you'll be able to save $10 on black, white, special-edition, and limited-edition Xbox wireless controllers.

Unless this is the sale and they’ve started early for some reason?

    • This looks like it, or even better as it saves $100 of the S instead of $50!

      • Yeah. That’s $50 USD which is probably around $75 so yeah $100 is better than stated

  • 4 QFF points per dollar spent as well. Need to install Qantas shopping browser extension.

Either this or Cashback I’m afraid.

      • Either this or Cashback I’m afraid.

Thanks, didn't realise it was one or the other

    • Does this interfere with Cashrewards/Shopback?

Microsoft Analytics going to go out of whack not understanding why people are buying Doodle Devil

  • Grabbed one from the Sydney store just in time for the long weekend

    • Also bought the games online for $1 and Amex cashback came through already. Not bad for $400

sometimes i can't stop wondering why folks bother buying XBONE whilst it's obvious that PS4 is winning in picture quality by far margin.

You might like to do a bit of reading into XB1X and PS4 Pro comparisons.

The XB1X is significantly more powerful.

    • Xbox one x is more powerful ATM but all Xbox exclusives now work on PC too. So I own a PS4 only now for their exclusives

These were $499 on the Microsoft eBay this morning. I was half way through posting it since the PRIORITY10 code took it down to 449. Then as I was typing it got jacked to $549.

    • They didn't jack up the price of the One S consoles. Still at $299 less 10%

I have a 4k TV, but haven't bought a 4K player yet. Is the One X better than the One S at playing 4k movies, or is the difference only with gaming?

    • This is what I'm wondering and interested in. Hoping there'll be a cheap sub $200 Xbox One S sometime soon

    • +1

They will be the same for movies. The One X will provide a significantly improved gaming experience with 4K gaming, improved frame rates and load times.

Most / all 4K TVs have built in Smart Apps for Netflix, YouTube, Amazon etc, so the Xbox One S will only really add a 4K BluRay player if that's what you need.

  • X bundles have gone up to $549, so I'm marking this as expired - the S bundles are still $299 however.
