Great month for me. Don't have any of these and have been wanting to check out Aliens: Descent.

The expiring keys are getting a bit annoying, but it is what it is.

It appears to be for Dredge only, curious.

      • Some of the ones from last year had at least 1 year or more, just seems like window is getting much smaller now. Probably doesn't bother the vast majority of subscribers.

I just like to order all my keys in a document form, helps me manage my backlog a little easier. That way I actually get around to playing these instead of letting it build up too crazy.

Could be worse… at least we're not getting harassed by Origin keys this month.

I actually decided to go back and activate 6 years worth of humble bumble bundles that I've just left stagnate over the last 6 years. It's been quite a few I've been told "Sorry no key for you at the moment will get back to you".

Also it's annoying adding them to steam now because steam stops you after adding like 20 titles for a bit so I've had to trickle activate like 200 titles.

      • Yeah, I've heard about this happening to some before I even started using Humble Choice. I usually "claim" them as soon as it's paid, but then just keep them unredeemed and log them in a word doc.

Oh wow… didn't know that about Steam, good to know!

      • was in a similar situation with 10 months worth of games. complained to Humble, with exactly which games i missed out on and they offered some humble credit to spend in the general store. Not ideal, as the value lost was greater than the credit offered, but still better than nothing.

Good to know. I'll hit them up after and get me some CREDDDDDIT.

      Feel like donating keys? :D

I hardly ever buy games, but bought Tomb Raider for $13 from Fanatical last month!

    FML lol

    • Did the same with DINAO. Even the same price! Conspiracy.

    • I got it on sale for Switch. If you have nostalgia for the originals $13 is a great price.

  • I was after Dredge!
Now just waiting to see if my prediction about Dredd comes true in the first half of this year.

Wow remastered from PS1 level graphics to PS2 graphics! That's 1 number more!

    • +1

Hey, that's not really fair now…

I played Tomb Raider Legend to death on PS2 and PSP, and let me tell you, it had a lot more detail.

      • This guy gets it ;)

    • The remaster tries to stay true to the original even with remaster mode on.

      • Looks like a very light reskin, not enough has changed for it to be a full "remaster". Not that it's a bad thing.

Diplomacy is Not an Option had some early performance issues, but resolved now. A very active developement team , though clearly putting it into humble to boost sales.

    • Sadly, it’s pretty unplayable on the Deck. Gun on desktop with kb+m.

    Dredge is fantastic.

    Fishing meets Eldritch Horror.

  • Placed 1000xRESIST on my Steam wishlist the other week - glad that it was popped into this month's Choice!

  • Would have been great if I didn't have both Tomb Raider and Dredge already.

But will get in for 1000xResist.

Amazing bundle this month — Aliens: Dark Descent is brilliant real-time tactics game, but beware: if you don't play it as a stealth game, you will have a much harder time. There is a real difficulty curve in the beginning, but once you grasp the game mechanics, it's a tonne of fun. One of the best love letters to the franchise.

1000xRESIST is also highly rated, but I haven't had a chance to play it much yet.

  • actually that is worth the 16.95 this month :D i will have choice for just this month

You get all 8 games for $17?
We can cancel striaght away after redeeming the steam keys?

    • Yes, that is correct. You subscribe, grab the keys and put them into Steam, remove the auto-renew/cancel, and you are all good to go.

You do still get access to the Humble Vault and discounts for the month as well, but it will just stop after the month ends.

      • Thanks!

This is a really good deal, a couple of games look right up my alley, especially Aliens: Dark Descent and Diplomacy Is Not An Option.

Based on GG.Deals, the DREDGE: Complete Edition Upgrade Bundle was $18.31 at Steam just a couple of weeks ago, and will probably be at that price again (if not cheaper) not too far in the future.

So if you're not in a rush to start the game, the 30% coupons from Humble Choice might not be the best value.

    • I'm only after Dredge, but the upgrade bundle you've linked doesn't look to include the base game. You can get the base game for under $6 though.

      • the upgrade bundle you've linked doesn't look to include the base game.

Yes. With the Humble Choice for April, it includes 30% off coupons for Dredge's DLCs in the Humble Store.

The Complete Edition Upgrade Bundle link is for those who are interested in the DLCs, but are happy to wait a bit to get them cheaper than with the 30% coupons.

  • Is all the DLC for dredge worth it (price)?
