Decent Xbox One X bundle with the included games. Microsoft is expected to announce two new consoles at next weeks E3 expo, with a speculated 2020 release date, something to keep in mind.

Bugger.
However people could buy discounted giftcards to get a decent discount aswell. I think the going best rate is 5% off when purchasing giftcards.
Even if they release a new console next year, for $499, you’ll get your monies worth for 18 months. This is less than half of some PC graphics cards alone, which people upgrade yearly as well.
looking at the rising price trend of tvs, mobiles, graphics cards etc.. dont be surprised if the new xbox is significantly more expensive next year, they are releasing 3 different models from what I read, likely the higher end one will be $800-$1000 (my guess)
I wouldn't mind paying $1000 for a Xbox Two X
Still worth it.
I can't possibly see them releasing it for $1000…that's going back to the PS3 days. The Xbox One X was $650 at launch and a year and a half later it's $500 with bundled games. There's still probably about a year and a half till the next generation, so considering that, it'd probably be about $700 at most.
I paid $1000 for my ps3 day 1 back in 2007 with a extra controller and a game $1200 in total. I still have my Ebgames receipt to proof it. I got my money's worth, play it like crazy and watched movies for 5 years. Until it died. :(
FYI you should be able to pricematch at microsoft.com and combine with https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/461418They don't have any 'matching' deals, not even the console itself.
Waiting for PS4 Pro deals.
The xbox one S is also listed on the page for $299 with the same games. This seems like a good deal considering it is also a 4k UHD player.
Do JB still do Trade in Deals?
Have the Halo version 1TB, XBOXOne. Thinking it is probably only like $100 but? If that? Anyone tried lately?
EB Games have $199 for trade in for XBox one. Hope they can price match.
Does this mean you get $199 cash for just the 500GB console? How much for the console including controller, headset?
It needs to be with controller, hdmi and network cable and that value only when you are trading in for XBox X
@EnALup: Thanks also is this value for 500GB OG Xbox and does EB accept Amex?
@brokeunistudent: Yes, that price was for 500 GB xBox. Regarding Amex, better call a store.
E3 in 5 days guys, you might want to hold your money.
Yep, that. These prices last a while, though stock may be limited.
quite a standard deal.
Yeah its a an ok deal but nothing special. Id wait till E3 if you arent wanting one today
Basically what I suggested in the post description, but some people might actually want one today. If there’s a better deal going, feel free to post it and break your 5 year posting drought.
I have a life outside of Ozbargain, you should try it princess you might not get so upset when someone posts their opinion. Several people above me posted the exact same comment….dont see you having a go at them? It wasnt a personal attack on you, so get over yourself.
Several people? I see one. Not upset at all, it's just that you are happy to take the time out to post comments about what you think are and aren't good deals, but never take the time out to post a deal every now and then. My comment wasnt a personal attack, just an observation. No need to get overly defensive or name call, that doesn't help anyone. Now, I’m sure you’ve got some more computer and hard drive deals to comment in. You know, since you live such an exciting life outside of Ozbargain and all.
I was instore yesterday and they had this bundle plus black ops 4 for $519.
Pitt St store in Sydney
Just to check, as my brother in law has dumped a large box of old 360 games on our lap, are these units backwards compatible?
Yes.
Curious for anyone who grabbed this in-store or happens to know, did they still only provide download codes? The fact that these are all only download codes is a deal-breaker for me. My understanding from the deal is that Forza and Division are physical cards with codes and the other two would normally be just emailed but since that was online I was wondering if the deal would be any different when buying in-store.
I bought in store. They were out off Division codes so offered me Horizon 4 and Forza 7 physical cards. Rest of the codes were printed out along receipt.
Thanks, I decided to bite the bullet and go for the deal because I realised you can’t use Play Anywhere for Forza Horizon 4 on PC with the physical disc anyway. They were also out of Division tokens so I swapped it out for the Horizon 3 Hot Wheels DLC since I already have the game. They also let me bundle up any extra games I wanted so I chucked in Shenmue for only $19 (instead of $29) more, so all round pretty good deal for me!
Which store is it? I'm checking in Sydney region and nearest click and collect is shellharbour.
@Sudoko: I got mine at Castle Towers, I didn't order online, I just went in-store and the deal was on their console deals wall. From what I can gather if they advertise that a certain token is out of stock they can probably swap it with another token from the same price/category (I just had to ask that's all). There was a list of tokens on the games desk but I didn't get a picture unfortunately. Keep in mind the token stock will vary from store to store as well.

At good guys it's for $447 using Pgoodguys
I think that's worth posting, mate.
Done
Good first post!
Can you get this and sell the games?
That 5% excludes game consoles and bundles.
