20% off Nikon Cameras & Lenses @ JB Hi-Fi

120

Found this deal on JB's homepage, thought might be good for someone wanting to buy some Nikon gear. Apologies for missing something.
Also good time to use $10 jb electronic receipt voucher if you have one. Thanks

  • wow, JB sucks, you need to provide some examples where the 20% off is good… for example, I was looking at 10-20mm lens, JB Price on super special, 519, catch every day price,
    462 with free shipping…

    https://www.catch.com.au/product/nikon-af-p-dx-nikkor-10-20m…

thats without even looking too hard!

heck even camera houses price is only 5-6% more - so hardly 20% off…

gotta say i'm pretty disappointed at JB of late.

Just note that the Catch one you linked is Grey Import.

Sold and delivered by TechWarehouse (Shipped from Overseas)

      • hey! that wasn't a referral or affiliate link, just a link to amazon saying there are so many around that are cheaper than this jbhifi "special"

heck if you do just a google search most of them come back under 500, and im sure at least one wont be grey…

but yep, good point about the catch one… :)

gotta say i'm pretty disappointed at JB of late. (which is a shame as i generally like them)

went for some white goods, 20 minutes in store waiting around, asking to be served.
sign said ask us for a deal, asked them for a deal when i was finally served, response: "yeah, thats already under cost…. we could potentially price match…" - yeah no, price matching's not a deal, in the end went to E&S and got the item for about 400 bux cheaper than JB's best price (1200 E&S, 1600 JB)

  • The a900 for $239.20 is a great deal!

It has been superseded by the a1000*

    Edit. 227 with 5% code!

Just got a Nikon Z6 with FTZ adaptor, card reader, XQD card and 24-70mm lens for $2.888 with the newsletter code.

    • for some reason i did not get a code in my JB Email for the WW promo? anyone with the same experience?

      • It will be in a separate email.

        • thanks, i'll re-sign up . great buy by the way + TRS as well if you can

          • @IamaCam: Yes I'll claim the GST as I'm a cinematographer, so $2625 net. Not 100% sold on the F4 24-70mm though, but will try it out.

    • Just wanted to confirm that the FTX adaptor is included in the price? Any XQD cards included also?

      • +1

Haven’t open it but it says XQD card and reader inside.

      • +1

It come with 32gb XQD card and FTZ adapter.

Amazing deal you got there! I bought it for $3500 couple of months ago.

      • I just missed the $500 cashback last month, but couldn't pass this price up.

        • +1

You ended up going for this one? Nice.
I only saw this today so I missed out, but yeah, would've gone for it if it was <$2900. Maybe this means that I should stick to my plan to get a Leica Q haha.

        • Alright, finally took the plunge on a near new Leica Q that was a backup for someone who mostly used his M cameras for ~$3500, hope I made the right choice over the Z6.

  • Is there a limit to using gift cards to make a purchase at JB?

    • +1

Nah. But once you're using a certain number or value they'll ask for ID.

      • Cheers. Even online purchase, they will ask for ID?

        • Ah not sure sorry!

    • No limit but Suncorp benefits allow me to buy 2 X $500 egift card/day only.

      • Was going to buy 5 x $500. Will have to resort to Entertainment book as well. Probably sold out by the time I get them.

  • Amazon has pricematched Nikon d850, waiting if cash rewards or shopback come up with some cashback deals…
