  • FYI, the link you need to use to register and receive the information on providing your feedback is as follows:

    http://www.cyberlink.com/stat/events/enu/2011/Q2/photodirect…

There is actually a Word Document with a questionnaire that you need to fill in :)

    Good luck!

  • Nice.. so another competitor to lightroom, aperture and capture one, tho, this looks on the budget side of things..

  • downloading now

  • how big is it ?

    • +1

      About 95MB

  • Hang on I think its for 90 days only u have to send MEANINGFULL feedback for keeping it for future.

  • *All you need to do is download the beta

    The beta costs $99.95? hell.

    • No. The beta version is a free time-limited application. Once the full version of the software has been released, the RRP will be at a cost.

  • Can any fellow OZBargainers' kind enough to share his/her (meaningful) feedback form? :P

    • Today I (finally) got round to actually downloading it. Imported a few photos, looked at editing options (literally only looked at them didn't actually use them lol), played around with albums and tags for a minute, selected some photos and exported as a slideshow with custom background music a couple of times with different export settings and viewed the results. That's about all I did before filling out the form, it didn't take very long to fill out and copying my feedback form wouldn't be very meaningful feedback :P

  • So let me get this straight. We are to download beta version that supposedly time-limited, have to send meaningful feedback, and must pay after they release the full version?

What's the different between this and any other beta products? What's the different between this and shareware? Even if you are MSDN member - you can have a try many MS products, without having to send any feedback?

    • +3

      Stevarja,

If you submit meaningful feedback, you will receive a free full version copy of the product once it has left the beta testing stage.
