JBL Link View smart speaker with google assistant built in.

Cheapest it has ever been from what I can see.

I have one of these in my kitchen and absolutely love it. It works much the same as the Google Home Hub but has much better sound so if you plan to play music on it I highly recommend this version. It also has hardware buttons for muting microphone and blocking the camera for those that care.

For those that don't know you can use it as a chromecast target to cast music and video to (early reviews say it can't but it now can) or you can use the google assistant and/or touch screen to control it.

  Are you able to disable the ambient light sensor on this one? Or at least force the screen on all the time?

  I have the 10" Lenovo "Smart" Display and it keeps going dim because it thinks that my kitchen isn't brightly lit enough - it's so bright in my kitchen that I can't even see the screen when it goes into its dim state, I'm quite ready to ditch it.

  I've asked multiple times on Lenovo's support forums, but they're not even responding to the issue.

    I don't see any way to disable it no, but I haven't experienced any similar issues with the JBL I only use it with the light on and haven't noticed it adjusting the brightness at all.
