    I don't need it! but I might buy 2!

What does anyone need it for?
I have a 128GB card in the phone now, and it holds my music collection, photos, thousands of eBooks I'll never read, a bunch of movies to watch, and the entire offline wikipeadia with images.

4k footage. Not everyone uses these for phones exclusively

You should get a few hours worth of 4K even on a 64GB card.
You want to go 12 hours without uploading?
Nothing worse than running out of film at a critical moment, I suppose.

I'm just stunned at how big and cheap storage has become, while desktop CPU power has flatlined in recent years.

          • @bargaino: Agreed. I personally like to take a bunch of SD cards for gopro + main cam and leave bulky laptop/sd slotted external at home when I go travelling

          • +2

@bargaino: 4k 60fps 100mbs 8bit will get under 1 hour and 20 minutes on a 256GB card. 10bit is going to be less. (That said this card is not fast enough to support these data rates).

I ripped my CD's to FLAC and it resulted in 128GB(1 album is 300MB+). One of these plugged into my router and shared via DLNA enables all devices connected to the network to stream the music, and it uses way less energy than having a 2'5" HDD plugged in.

        • Is it worth getting a SanDisk Extreme for a 4K Camera?

        • Shooting RAW + Fine Jpeg on my Mirrorless without have to worry about running out of space while on a trip :)

      • I'm still using an oldish 64GB card, so I might leapfrog your 128 and go straight to 256GB :D

      • How do you get the entire wiki with images?

      • how big is the entire offline wiki?

      • My need for storage is not limited by your imagination.

      • Nintendo Switch

      • Surface uses them fyi

and probably loads of other tablets, cameras etc

        Not to mention the Switch

$9.99 postage it a big turn off me me :(

  • Thanks op got one .

  • Code doesn't work for me

    • Code is definitely working, i bought one.

  • Is there any way to get another free eBay Plus trial without a new account? $10 postage kills this deal.

  • Will this work fine in a Galaxy S7?

  • 512GB at this price in the next few months me thinks :D

    • how much is it currently? I could have sworn it was trying to make its way below $100

      • 400 GB was 98$

  • Did you guys use the Ebay plus 30 day free thing. I cbf

  • I remember buying 64gb for about this price not too long ago and it was a great price then.
    This is crazy.

  • These cards never work in my car dashcam (cheap target one).

    Anyone know why?

    Cheers

    • I think dashcams only take a max of 128gb

      • I think I tried a 64gb one of this brand and it still came up with "INSERT SD CARD"… could it be to do with write speeds?

        • Not an expert, but i've read somewhere that you need to format the microsSD first before putting it into you dashcam…or it could just be the case that the card is not compatible. I'm currently using the evo plus 128gb on my dashcam.

  • Back in stock :)

I wonder how you can tell if these cards are legit? Is there a way to tell if they're a fake?

    • Agreed

  • May I know if this is a good card for Samsung S8 please?
