Hi all. Thanks to Apple Music, we've been able to increase Cashback on this deal for the next 24 hours. The increase applies to the Individual Plan only. The Family Plan remains at $6. Everything below is a copy/paste from the previous offer. This increase ends midnight AEST Tuesday May 28. Enjoy :)

Cashback will move from pending to approved at 30 days from signup. If your Apple Music subscription is cancelled prior to 30 days, Cashback will be declined.

You must be a new Apple Music customer who has not taken up a trial previously. If you don't have one, create a new Apple ID and add a payment method (PayPal etc) prior to commencing. The only ways to acquire this cashback is via the methods below.

From an iPhone/iPad/iPod:

  • Open Settings/Safari and turn off Prevent Cross-Site Tracking.
  • Open Safari, navigate to cashrewards.com.au and log into your Cashrewards account.
  • Search for Apple Music and click the orange bar, or simply click here.
  • Click Shop Now and you will be redirected to 'open this page in Music' then this popup.
  • If you see this instead, you're a return customer and not eligible.
  • Select Individual Plan, click Start Trial, and enter your Apple ID (if requested).
  • You're all done, and purchase should track within 24 hours (Apple is a little slower at tracking).

From a desktop browser (requires iTunes install prior to clicking Cashrewards links):

  • If you haven't done so already, install and open iTunes.
  • Open your favourite browser and ensure all AdBlock is off (including Safari Cross-Site Tracking).
  • Navigate to cashrewards.com.au and log into your Cashrewards account.
  • Search for Apple Music and click the orange bar, or simply click here.
  • Click Shop Now and you will be redirected to open iTunes.
  • Select Try it now… and you will get this popup.
  • If you see this instead, you're a return customer and not eligible.

      Apple Music accounts aren't tied to devices; you sign out via the App Store section in Settings.

          If you only received 1 month free, it means your Apple ID has previously taken up an Apple Music offer. This Cashback is only for new customers taking up a 3 month trial. Please ensure you follow all the steps in the OP.

      Did you get an email from Apple saying that your trial has started, or something similar? Last time I signed up for the 3 month trial to get the $6 for 2 accounts, but had no emails from Apple and no tracking.

              @alexshel: I just did it again, and my trial subscription went through. No idea why it didnt the first time when I did it twice, must have been glitchy that day? When I clicked through cashrewards it still said i had a 3 month trial. Both went through this time and I got both the apple and CR email.

        hi TA, thanks for the deal. order through iTunes on PC shows on click history but no tracking mail yet. had ordered Tuesday early morning, so definitely over 24 hrs now. got the email from Apple for the order as well. any delays in processing iTunes based orders from CR?

          Hi. Have you checked your CR acct for the pending amount just in case your email went to your spam folder? If nothing is showing there, don't worry. Please lodge a claim after 7 days and the team will sort this out for you. Ensure you provide a screenshot of the Apple email you received, and the Apple ID email address used for the promo. As long as that ID wan't used in any previous Apple promos, you'll be good to go :)

    Edit: I didn't have my payment method setup properly. Had to do it in itunes itself and not the apple site I think

    hi OP, missed the step to add paypal before starting the process. added paypal details during the signup through CR. is this a lost opportunity already or can be tracked still through a ticket? $9 free is too good to resist

          tracked successfully after around 1.5 hrs. my partner's signup from a Windows 10 laptop through iTunes doesn't seem to have tracked still, after over 7 hours.

    Is it possible to just sign up with a dummy account with a dummy $0 no funds prepaid visa/MasterCard and wait for all incentives to arrive? This way I don’t have to go into a dark faze and commit succide from internal blood clotting wondering if I where to be charged after experimental trial.

    Thanks TA! Took about 3hrs to receive email that transaction is tracked. Did not add paypal or credit cards, however did have some balance left in AppStore/Itunes account from gift card.

    Not working for me for some reason. It's like the only thing that won't "open" in iTunes (on a PC) is the Get 3 Free Months of Apple Music… weird.

    From the Cashrewards "Shop Now" button is goes to the Connecting to Apple Music page and then just hangs.
    Doesn't matter if iTunes already open or not.

    And even just opening iTunes on its own, the get 3 Free Months is not accessible.

      you should get a mail from CR on successful tracking,supposedly within 24 hrs. check spam folder as well
