  I don’t fly much, but have a trip to Hawaii organised at the end of the year.

  Found out today, Jetstar moved us to the next days flight without telling us.
  We’ve booked accomodation, and now can’t change without penalty.
  Jetstar have screwed us.

  This is the first and last time I’ll ever fly Jetstar. They are f-ckwits. Cheap flights? Get what you pay for,

    Seems very unusual they moved the flight date without telling you. I’m sure if that is the case you can ask for compensation. You have many options till the end of the year, give them a call and if you are still not satisfied with the outcome then let us know.

        For buyer beware notifications but not if it stops people from sharing flight deals. I’ve had lots of overseas holidays thanks to cheap flights posted here. Not sure a negative vote discouraging these posts is the way to go.

        Post your story by all means though. It sounds like a shitty experience.

  Hmm still often cheaper to fly via Brisbane Airport in my experience. Have lived at Sunshine Coast for years but still never flown from MCY.

    Well, yes, but you forgot to mention the two airports are over 100 kms apart.

    For some residents on the Sunshine Coast it would take an hour and a half to drive to Brisbane Airport. Also if it's peak hour it's pretty horrendous fighting the traffic on the highway coming in and out of Brisbane.

    One time I nearly missed a morning flight from Brisbane because of that.
