I love coal almost as much as I love bargains.

Get your FREE Adani Supporter pack today!

Email [email protected] to request an Adani Supporter pack, including T-shirt and stickers.

Mod: A free T-shirt is a valid deal (as were the Free Stop Adani Sticker Packs). As always, negative voters are also free to express their opinion against the deal, as long as a reason/explanation is given. See guidelines, writing 'agree' is not valid. Debate is fine, but name calling, trolling or inflammatory comments will be punished. Thank you.

      Clearly shit stirring.

  • +43

Thanks ordered, 1,000. Sending them to a charity in India, to help the some of the millions of Indians living in absolute poverty.

      • +20

Ah yes, the old "you can't solve literally every problem for every person in one fell swoop so therefore shouldn't try to solve any problems ever".

        • -3

Haha give money instead for food and real help not just phony help.

          • +1

@sli: Good suggestion, but why don't you do you and stop criticizing others…

          • +1

@sli: Any assistance towards poverty is a good thing. Who are you to decide what "real help" is.

Just comes across as extremely arrogant and righteous

      • +8

Giving shirts is much better than whining on Ozbargain.

    • +3

You can walk to CBD too where many homeless people live. They will be happy too. At least you will save money on courier to send it overseas.

    • +4

      T-shirts made in India

    • +1

Wonder what the carbon generation would be on that process?

      • +4

Hell of a lot less than buring all that coal

  • +16

Burn the coal, pay the toll

    • +3

Nah, I'm just spending it forward.

    • +2

You’ve gotta pay the coal toll if you was the boy’s hole.

    • A toll is a toll
And a coal is a coal
And if we don't get no tolls
Then we don't burn no coals
      - Little Dow, Diggin' Hood, Men in Tunnels

  • +10

Woo-hoo a T-Shirt to vandalize!! and stickers to modify!
Background will be changed to red to start with… a bit rich them using green.

    • +1

      Put a HI between the S & T

    • The green is pure marketing. Awww jow sweet, an environmental coal mine

  • +21

    This is just depressing.

    • -1

      Why?

        • -1

          Why? It’s free.

  • +14

Ordered 100, i’ll burn them all and generate enough heat to boil up some mie goreng

    • Or just buy some Mi Goreng chips instead.

  • +1

    Negged for blatant political advertising.

    • +2

      Negged for dissing free t-shirts

  • +10

With a bit of screen printing quite easy to change this. I do like “there is no planet b”. Get them to pay for my own protest, hell yeah.

  • +3

All you need is Billionaire's Palmer and Murdock behind a camp and miracle's happen . Love the greens to do something useful one day and get my electricity bill down to 25% with carbon friendly nuclear . But I'm sure they will stop it with other concerns .

  • -3

Post like this show how far ozbargain has fallen
Mods delete this rubbish, this is a bargain site not a political site

    • +4

      And free t-shirts are bargains

    • +14

Classic intolerance to differing views, what a time to be alive when one side tries to drown out the other just because they don't agree. What a mature society.

      • It's the Aussie way ;)

        • Not yet as bad as American divisiveness thankfully… !

      • This could be satirical. Wait do I now what satire is?

        • Or it could be satanical, if environmentalism is your religion.

      • +5

One side denies science and the other doesn't, we should be tolerant of those who want to destroy the environment. Get a grip

      • +3

I have a low tolerance for views based on misinformation, or willful ignorance.

      • Hilarious that you can't justify why Adani is a good deal for Australia. We're giving an Indian billionaire FREE water, a FREE railway line and FREE coal, with no royalties. Why is that a bargain for Australia???

  • +6

God thats an ugly design. Couldnt such a rich company pay a decent graphic designer to make good looking tshirts?

    • +2

Purpose is to make the message stick out , it achieves that :)

    • -1

Blame the anti Adani people with their ugly red Stop Adani design, they started it.

      • +1

        🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑😊🔫

    • +2

Probably used an Indian on Freelancer

  • +1

Anyone here work in the mines?

    • Heigh-Ho, heigh-ho its off to Adani we go

  • +20

Do they have design options? I would prefer an illustration of the planet being teabagged

  • +25

    I'll pass, thanks

    • +12

Maybe you should pass by the voting guidelines while you in the mood for passing.

      • +6

Why is almost impossible to neg a deal?

        • +1

          I guess freebie is not a Deal…?

  • +11

Golly some people have no sense of humour.

Whether you oppose or support the coal industry, you gotta do it with a good attitude. C’mon Ozbargainers - have a little chuckle on a Saturday morning.

    • +2

      Too early :)

    • +2

Because some people are extremely passionate about things, especially important things such as the environment. Coal isn't going to be around forever anyway, so we need to transition to alternatives, and that's ignoring the impact burning coal has on the environment.

  • +7

    wear it inside out
    .

  • +30

I have a major issue with the “retailer” as Adani should not be started with tax payer money. Even if they do give away free t-shirts I wouldn’t wear one. We need to move to nuclear and renewables.

    • +10

I'm with you on nuclear. Any good free pro nuclear t-shirts out there?

      • I'm with you on nuclear

        Why? It costs even more.

      • +2

        Fusion or Fission?

    • +26

Built with tax payers money, subsidised with tax payers money, bailed out with tax payers money, and then providing support for all the unemployed coal miners after it completely fails .. with tax payers money.

But how about those free t-shirts, amiright??

      • +1

Haha where are those people who approved it ? Relaxing in Cayman Islands ?

        • +6

There's a reason no bank in the world wanted to finance it - and oddly enough it isn't the warm fuzzy reasons they gave….

          • +2

@ryang: Exactly, we're paying money because pigheaded ideologs want to poo on other pigheaded ideologs.

I know that's usually the way with politics, but it does annoy me when a party who proclaims to be better economic managers, small govt, less welfare, want p1ss our money away just to rub their opponents noses in it.

Anyway how about that free shirt & sticker eh?

  • +33

More to lose than to gain. So far from a bargain.

    • +5

      Agreed

    • +5

      Agreed.

      • +5

In response to a comment saying that a lot of negs aren't valid I just want to add that this isn't a bargain as I agree that the destruction caused by Adani will outweigh the benefits of it.

    • +6

      Agreed
what next #I Support Illegal mining/drug/?

      • +1

Why did you have to go and bring drugs into this! Medical marijuana…

    • +2

      NPC #472
Agreed. Orange man hurt my fee fees.

      • Ironic that you use an NPC meme, being an NPC and all

    • +2

      Agreed.

  • -7

I gotta get off this thread, too many greens voters to use all my negs on

    • +15

Just because people don't agree with what adani is doing it doesnt mean they are left wing voters even right wing voters. You're the problem putting people into certain catagories with ouy even knowing anything about them. Then insulting people who don't agree with your position or political belief. Grow up.

      • -6

Adani is literally used as a political platform for the greens, there's over a hundred other coal mines in Australia but this one is the one they lose their minds over.

Blindsided people are the real problem.

        • +9

Yes there are a large amount of coal mines but how many of them are

          • in an area where dredging activity will have an impact on a world heritage site?
          • owned by a foreign entity and subsidized by the government?

Funny how you say blindsided yet you ignore the literal main reasons people are against this PARTICULAR mine

          • @GossipGoat: Most electricity companies are owned foreign and subsidized by the government why is there no uproar there? As for the first point i don't care enough to research

            • +1

@Wilder94: Most? 2 of the big 3 providers are ASX listed companies.

Funny how you claim blindsided people are the real problem yet you yourself are one.

              • @GossipGoat: How many are there in Australia? Of those how many are Australian owned, not just the big 3

                • +3

@Wilder94: Doesnt matter how many there are. If you know anything about the Energy market in Australia, its a big players game

6 companies provide energy for 8 out of the 9 million customers.

Guess how many of them are foreign owned? Yeah still one.

If you support the mine, then thats your view and I respect that but the fact that you clearly do no research but go spewing nonsense and complain about "blindsided people" is quite ironic

                  • @GossipGoat: That's redundant there's still a problem of foreign owned providers, that are subsidized. My point isn't how many use them it's why there's no uproar about this? There is about an Australian owned mine is subsidized what's the difference?
Inb4 the environment, make a difference in china first who we are funding (maybe not by a great amount yet) by selling off our electricity suppliers.

      • +3

Exactly, each party is trying to driving people away from each other. Bit of sad this is the world we live in.

You have to stay either on the right or left, no options in between.

  • +24

    Adani can suck it.

  • +3

parts of Queensland are in drought and you need water

  • +15

I don't think anyone would think a free Vote Labor or Vote Liberal tshirt is considered a bargain. Similarly this is not a bargain.

  • +3

Maybe Labor should have just made a post on ozbargain to get an accurate poll on their policies?

34+ 7- seems to line up pretty well with their real life polling in QLD 😂

    • They would've had a fighting chance if they just listened and took action. Least we won't see Mr. Shorten at the front again.

  • Can you order them online? Or do you actually need to email them?

    • +2

      Isn’t email online ¯_(ツ)_/¯

      • +1

        Lol. Good point.

I meant, is there an online fo to fill out? Or are we forced to send an email?

I want as many shirts as they’ll give me.

  • +9

    Bad deal actually

    • +2

      Why?
