    • Just this round. Same happened last week. All the other waves look pretty normal, with 4 games, and more what you'd expect dropping ever 2 hours.
Looks like the overnight bid was open on for 6 hours, lol. It makes sense, but still most people will only come on for the last 10 mins or so :-). They fixed it, but good :].

  • This weekend was a bit busier than last, specially in the Tombola department. If my source is true, there was 700+ tickets grabbed on Shadow of the Tomb Raider…
Already seeing 200+ more bids unlocked, not counting the final round. Average bids still rising…

I am seeing a pattern in the wave times. All but one were identical to last week. Plus, they put 8 waves on Friday, 10 waves Saturday, 12 on Sunday. Next week is likely to be similar.

  • Got lucky myself, but with Gamehag ;-). Place my order for Nier: Automata just now, 12k gems worth, damn! I'll let you know how it goes ;-).

Wow, I got a really quick delivery this time. Nier is installing as we speak. I read that worst case, if your cd key doesn't arrive you get your souls refunded, luckily that's not the case here. I took a gamble at a mobile contract with King of Avalon: Dragon War, and got 3.7k gems in under 2 days :-). That and a bit of oddjobs. My account is now dry, and I don't think they put out new games/contracts very often. I might try a new account over VPN or something at some point, but man, I just got 2 top games of my choosing in under 1 month! Doesn't sound so great when I put it like that, but its absolutely true :P.

Also, turns out there's a random gift every month you earn 1000 gems… so :-).

TIME OF THE MUTANTS STEAM CD KEY GIVAWAY - I WILL PM THE KEY TO THE FIRST PERSON TO UPVOTE THIS COMMENT

      • …dumb old me, can't start PMs overseas :P
@KH41 - E-mail me at: [email protected] or if you can, start a PM with me please!

  • Also, to hell with NMS. Nier is un-freaking-believable! :-) I mean, if you like the open world survival-exploration, go with NMS ofc! That's the one thing I still hope to get from CFW. I am just so mindblown after first 10 mins of Nier! :-))) Playing it at 30 fps is a whole nuther story…

Bottom line, good luck, fingers crossed…

There's some mods and stuff to get Nier working better with Mouse+uncapped fps.

I actually died about 30~40 minutes into the prologue - and there's no autosaves or checkpoints there for whatever reason.. =(
Soured me and turned me off for about a week or so until I finally gave it another chance. Yeah It's pretty good once you get past the linear arcadey intro thing and the open-world exploration of the areas becomes available.

      • I'll be sure to check for mods, but very happy with vanilla right now. The sheer commitment and artsy design is damn impressive. Can't praise it enough. Maybe that, or maybe I'm just unbiased. Haven't played a lot of JRPGs (borderline or otherwise ;-)). Feels super unconventional to me.

NB. Yeah, it was the prologue that got my attention :-). Entering the open world was like hitting roadworks on a German highway :P. It's still great, just that the intro felt like Bayonetta all over again. Shock treatment, totally different games :-))).

Guess I was lucky to beat the prologue on my first go. I think the auto-recovery (healing) helped a bit. Feels cruel :-). I have a DS4+DS4windows. Tried mouse+key… no :P. Sacrifice some FSAA and now I'm hitting decent FPS. I'd love to see it maxed out though :-). Thanks for the tip!

No trace of a new list yet. Read a text on Telegram somebody has 5200 njk… patiently waiting for 'We Happy Few'. That was last week, so theyre up to 5500 by now. I'm impressed.
Also, the Telegram mod said they're not topping up NJK on purchase yet, or he was not aware. People complained they received no krowns with their games, so that kinda confirms it. No info if they will be refunded, very bad advertising tho. Pretty sure its bound to happen eventually.

      Back then 800 to 1300 used to be enough for a decent game… I reckon even 2200 to 2500 wouldn't be enough….

      • Coming off of last week, you could just about bid on half the games, only 6 titles didnt go below 2500.
You'd never be in the lead, a win is a win is a win ;-). No chance at the premiums tho.

After 20 editions of Crazy Free Weekends we’ve decided to conclude our event in its weekly form. Free AAA games will be featured periodically to celebrate special occasions, such as Cyber Monday. Soon we will also introduce discount coupons purchasable with Ninja Krowns.

For 5 months we’ve been enjoying giving you free games, including major hits like The Division 2, The Witcher 3, NieR: Automata, Assassin’s Creed: Origins or Devil May Cry V. Overall, we’ve given away more than 35,000 games! Crazy Free Weekends have been a fun experience, however they haven’t been bringing the right balance to Kinguin’s Ninja World.

Our analysis showed that only 10% of Ninja Krowns users have actually participated in Crazy Free Weekends. We’ve been receiving mixed reactions regarding the mechanics of the event, with a large part of our community feeling discouraged or excluded. These are not the emotions we wish to invoke.

Despite this, your Ninja Krowns will still be useful! Free games will appear to celebrate special occasions, such as the upcoming Cyber Monday. Soon we will also introduce discount codes available to claim with Ninja Krowns. They will let you lower the price of any game or item on Kinguin.net. You can also use your Ninja Krowns to open Ninja Packs, which contain random gaming items.

Thank you for your support, and as always, love the game!

      • No way! :-) I was just on the website collecting NJK, and was thinking the clock was not counting down… I'm guessing the other 90% collected in the early seasons, and stopped when the thing blew out of proportion. It's a stab in the dark, but 90%… wow.

Sanity level by not needing to OCD check over weekends = restored.
Guess we'll see just what we can use these crowns on and what sort of 'discount' they provide.

From the start I really wish they just did it like Chrono.gg and had two games a fortnight; but enough copies for everyone to reasonably be able to get a chance at them for a few hours.

I don't know. 20 weeks of insanity really did some damage here :P. It's a good thing I don't smoke, this must be what quitting is like…
With the grief they were getting, I'm still impressed they lasted this long. Never tried Chrono. It's a lot of indie games, right?

          • +1

@[Deactivated]: They have daily deals for normal money on almost anything from indie to sort of mainstream - a few historical lows have popped up there from time to time.

But also they have a daily check-in thing pretty similar to what Kinguin where you get coins and and combos for every daily check in. Every two weeks they put a few indie~ish games up that need varying amounts to redeem.

I've knocked a few things off my indie wishlist from them.

            • @Stoibs: No, I meant with collected coins. Had a brief look at their coin shop. I dont seem to know any of the titles xD.

              • +1

@[Deactivated]: I feel sorry for the person who patiently accumulated 5K+ NJKs.. lolz…

                • +2

                  @bigbadboogieman: im sitting on 4625 =(

                  • @KH41: I am at roughly 2200 tried to get rid of em last weekend but couldn't win anything. Was successfully able to go all in on my other account a few weeks back for Tomb Raider and stopped accumulating on that account.

                    • @bigbadboogieman: I was trying to get Monster Hunter a few weeks back… first two went above the amount i had… the last one i had enough however it was like 3am or something stupid so was asleep…

                  • @KH41: Damn 4625? Hope you can manage to get something on the next editions at least :)

                • @bigbadboogieman: Haha, I was thinking: take that, you lazy cheating basta#@ds :P. Damn shame really. I'm back to 2200 myself. All they had to do was announce before the final season…

                  Telegram just went ballistic :-D.

                  Kingiro - Community Ninja, [18.10.19 11:59]
You will all still be able to collect your daily earnings to then claim for example or Ninja Pack or wait for the next edition of the Crazy Free Weekend during Cyber Monday

The mod said its coming 2nd December.

                  • @[Deactivated]: So the question is whether to hang around and accumulate till 2 Dec and risk competing with people who're already sitting at 5K or cut your losses (and gains) and move on….

                    • +1

@bigbadboogieman: Yeah, no… I need some closure first :-). But I'm sticking to 1 account this time. CyberMonday could well be the last big thing they do for a long time. I've got collecting on my scheduler so I barely think about it anymore. Piece of cake. Would be nice if someone pops open a new thread on Dec 2, this one is way overdue :-)). We could end up trading keys again at least.

Ps. What was that about sanity? I keep thinking I should check the bids… this is going to be one long weekend xD.
