  I was so close to buying one recently, but the lack of 4K YouTube is such a killer at this kind of price :/

  Ended up going with a Vodafone TV - highly recommended. Would've been nice to round out my Apple collection though.

      I watch quite a bit of YouTube on my TV. Just seemed out of the question to me to spend this much money on something that wouldn't support it in 4K when there are a lot of alternatives that do for less money.

    I wonder how much 4K content is available on YouTube.
    Also worth mentioning apparently the up-scaling technology (from 1080p HD to 4K) on recent 4K TV’s has improved enough to warrant buying a 4K display over Full HD display even if only using it for 1080p content (well that and also the dramatic drop in prices of 4K TV’s).

    In saying all this I would personally still prefer 4K content on 4K TV.
    Disclaimer: I run ATV at 720p & watch 480p content on a 1080p HD TV.

  Brand-new AU stock has been as cheap as $211 ($5 more) more than once, and as low as $199 once off (both prices before delivery same as in this deal).
  (And yes I made sure they were for the 4K model)
